| The official website of the Katsute Mahou Shoujo to Aku wa Tekitai shiteita. (The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies) television anime revealed additional cast members and a second promotional video on Thursday. The anime is scheduled to premiere in July 2024 on Tokyo MX, BS11, and AT-X. Byakuya’s Angel: Shinichiro Miki (Bleach)  Hibana Kagari: Mariya Ise (Yakusoku no Neverland)  Hibana’s Angel: Hikaru Midorikawa (Sakamoto desu ga?)  Akiyo Oohashi (Umibe no Étranger) is directing the anime at Bones, with Yuniko Ayana (Flip Flappers) handling the series composition and script. Haruko Iizuka (Horimiya) is designing the characters, and MAYUKO (Ousama Ranking) is composing the music. The anime adapts Cocoa Fujiwara's fantasy romance manga—also known as MahoAku—which began in Gangan Joker magazine in September 2013.
