If you ask me, 2024...has not gotten off to a good start.
Japan's devastating New Year earthquakes plus the recent ones, and the loss of high-profile figures like Akira Toriyama just about shocked all fans of Dragon Ball that he's passed way too early. Personally, I knew about DB's existence, but like many of you, didn't catch on until DBZ rolled around, and even that was a monumental tide, changing the face of anime globally, more so in North America. To everyone who says that DB is their first anime, it's truly an honour to have watched the series.

You will be missed, along with the Dragon Balls and Goku's legacy.

As for the Winter season...it frankly just sucks that since the start of the 2020s, Winter has ALWAYS, UNDOUBTEDLY, be the worst and unmemorable season of the years that have gone by. Save for Interspecies Reviewers in 2020, culture and degeneracy just hit back-to-back for a leap year...and that's it. Honestly, I didn't and won't remember much.
