| So earth is in chaos because a neutron star fragment is soon to collide. Only the elite, a small portion of mankind, managed to leave earth with spaceships built with alien tech from an alien spaceship that crashed onto earth?? with anti-gravity engines they didn't comprehend completely, but still managed to copy?? ok. Then they warp to a known warp point and find a "liveable planet", which is a complete desert planet?? gl farming food. Somehow they didn't scan for lifeforms, or failed to do so. Then it basically becomes an action show with starship troopers/helldivers like bugs, where everyone still uses handheld rifles with normal bullets, where the alien tech or big guns at?? Characters are shallow as hell, also the american football guy scenes are lame. /rant over If you just see it as an action show where they shoot bugs like a budget starship troopers, it's watchable I guess. 3/10 |

| They manage to suppress the large creature by injecting its core with the acidic solution and collecting the crystal at its core. However, now they're on a time crunch to take off before they are overrun by the large amount of smaller creatures. After picking up captain Jao in a sorry state they barely make it back onboard Hope just enough time for Captain to be saved and out of the atmosphere of the hostile planet. The crystal has an equivalent of restoring 70% of Hope's power reserves which will give them enough energy to to another jump into a different universe/star domain. The ending obviously hints to a sequel but the way it ended just left a bad impression of the series. No clues to the Ark I after 9/10 episodes, no development in story, main character hasn't grown in skill or shined using his existing computer skill, Lackluster environment/world building etc. So much for improvement that I don't think there should be a sequel atp. 1/5 |
