I can't help but think about how the first season debuted exactly 10 years ago. Either way, I'm happy to see the return of Tatsuya and Miyuki for the third season of Mahouka. =)

While the episode didn't hesitate in getting straight to the point with the new character and new school year, it still offered a nice portion of funny moments, mainly the Saegusa twins, where one of them simps hard for Miyuki, while the other tried, and failed, to hurt Tatsuya because of how close he got to Mayumi, who didn't waste time in reprimanding her younger sisters for their behaviour.

As for the production values, going by those who've mentioned it here, it's either very praiseworthy or criticised harshly. For me, I think it looks pretty solid upon first episode impression, with the boat scene showcasing some nice fluid action animation that looked very impressive. Hopefully we'll have more of that in store this season.

Also, LiSA is back in doing the OP song, just like she did with the first season, Rising Hope. Her new song here has similarities to her other song before going into a satisfying and powerful melody. I think it's pretty good overall.

This is pretty good compared to others recent adaptation. I'm hooked and no fast forward whatsoever. [+0]
No shitty CGI or if any barely noticeable. [+0]
The ED is pretty good with the vibe. [+0]
The content form previous season's episode is very neat, condense but not too complicated nor neglected. [+0]
Mayumi is so damned cute. [+1]

Overall I gave it a 9 but my scepticism over shitty CGI/ Animation [mostly] of them over 2 years prior, I only give this only an 8.

So glad that as far as I can see this season will not be dissappointment like the previous one. So damn happy to see my Saegusa again. The studio has done a wonderful job with the adaptation so far

Tatsuya is still OP, and STILL trying to hide that. Anyone naive enough to think that he isn't powerful better do their research. Set-up episode with the new kids front and center. I dropped the second season of this, and am back for the third. Let's see if this gets better.

Confused how people are saying no CG or Barely Noticable CG...all the background characters are CG (its actually pretty impressive how far theyve come, there was a making of video years ago as well), the overlay effects of the CAD are CG, they even have a credits just for them.

Anyway.

Ive waited years for Shippou Takuma to be animated and that introduction scene was amazing. Tatsumaru Tachibana gave him a great voice too (deserves another lead voice role someday).Always love the *miyuki glare*, ice cold. And Fumiya Kuroba finally here too, Ive been waiting to see him for so long, omg. Really great start.

yay Godtsuya back and starts with handholding. Everytime no idea half the cast and plot but there's no recap.
Eimi faces so funny cute with new Hagane introduced.
Shippou got fancy hair.
Mayumi fits with the OL style, lol the twins and Minami escalated that. interesting pov shots.
Kuroba twins on another missionFumiya got fast moves with nice animation.

I somehow remember S1 clearly but nothing from S2 lol.

Saegusas and Tatsuyas moments together are always the best, they tease each other so well.

I forgot how much of a love triangle incest angst drama this is, well I definitely did not forget about the incest, but still how do you even begin to describe what happened here?
"Please marry the brother of the girl I like so I can legally call her big sister"

Somehow its crazy to think we still get Mahouka in 2024, but I certainly wont complain!

Hmmm... I don't remember much of the plot that will happen, even though I know I read the LN up till this point years ago.

It’s so funny how we’re at season 3 and there are still people who complains about the incest-like relationship of Miyuki and Tatsuya when the series is centered around it this WHOLE time. At this point why bother watching if you’re gonna dislike the one large thing that this show is known for *sigh* Know that this anime is based on a light novel and the brother-sister relationship won’t go away just because you want Tatsuya to end up with anyone else

On a side note, I’m glad this anime is back since Godsuya and Miyuki are one of the absolute best OP pairing!

After a long time finally more of Godsuya animated, im not an actual reader of the novel i tried tho... but its just so extended haha, mayumi sisters are a great adition to the plot i really liked, but that guy shipou omg a total assh0le hes even worse than hatori or the other bitter guy, dont remember.
im looking forward of more dosis of an underrated ship miki and shibata.
