As for the current rating of 8.81 with 2 episodes remaining, what is the possibility of this anime having a season 3? I'M GETTING DIABETES WITHDRAWALS IF SEASON 3 WON'T BE AIRED SOON. :'(((((

Pretty high possibility fs. It's doing really great I think. I'd be extremely happy if we get another season. But is there enough source material for it? If not, we'll have to wait a bit longer.

i read manga,
season 3 has the best arc of this anime, I loved that arc very much, they will definitely have season 3 but manga is ongoing and there is not enough source material for season 3 , only half of the season can be made so ,it may take 1 years for season 3 ,but there will be definitely,and i hope soo to, because I wanna see that arc.

The manga is continuing, so it’s likely that the anime will as well! Though it might take a bit longer this time around since there aren’t quite enough chapters yet at the pace they’ve been going.
This season will likely end around chapter 113-114 and the latest chapter out currently is 140.

The fact that we got a season 2 so soon after the first season is a good sign.

It's ultimately down to how well the show does in Japan though, so MAL scores aren't the best indicators.

@Hacker075 This is not a second season realistically just the second cour, which aired later so as to ease the production.

As a manga reader, I'd say there's a high chance we'll get a season 3, but we'll probably have to wait an extra 6 months to a year since there's not really enough content in the manga to cover an entire season with how much they're adapting per episode.

It might get a season 3 thanks to the popularity and the high score it got but not soon though as a season of 12 episodes adapts about 55 chapters and season 2 gonna adapts to chapter 114 and the manga currently at chapter 140 so we are gonna have to wait some time until season 3 announcement

from a success standpoint is highly likely it will get s3, but the issue is that there are 140 ch as of rn. This season will adapt maybe 113 or 114 ch. The chs are short, are around 10-12 pages. So i doubt there would be enough material for a 3rd season. Maybe theyll anounce a 3rd season but it will take a year or a lil more.

if you're asking content-wise, certainly yes, there's a good amount of content that can be used for a season 3 already, but if financially idk how much season 2 has made so far, but it seems popular enough with fans to justify a new season.

The manga is in continuation. So I'd imagine, taking into consideration how the final manga adaptations sell.. we should almost definitely get a third season.
