 The official website for the television anime adaptation of Synecdoche’s Elf-san wa Yaserarenai. (Elf can't be on a diet) manga revealed three additional cast members on Thursday. The anime is scheduled to premiere in 2024.Cast Naoe Tomoatsu: Takahide Ishii (Futsal Boys!!!!!) Kuroeda: Rena Hasegawa (Jashin-chan Dropkick X) Oga: Ayaka Fukuhara (Keikenzumi na Kimi to, Keiken Zero na Ore ga, Otsukiai suru Hanashi.) Synecdoche drew the comedy fantasy manga in Web Comic Gum from December 2016 to May 2021. Akita Shoten shipped the eighth and final volume in November 2021. A sequel manga titled Shin Elf-san wa Yaserarenai. (Plus-Sized Elf: Second Helping!) began in Dokodemo Young Champion magazine in November 2021. The third volume shipped on January 18. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga and its sequel in English in November 2017 and March 2023, respectively. The eighth and final volume of the original manga was released in December 2022.
