| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- -Planning to kill Yui? CONFIRMED FOR BEST EPISODE EVER!  Tenshi is also further proving my 'Starcraft' player joke, but that new Hand Sonic technique was more like the Zerg than the Protoss. /actually watches some of Yui's past -Well... fuck me.. Now I can somewhat excuse her behavior... DOESN'T MAKE HER A GOOD CHARACTER THOUGH!.. God... god dammit, the... the... SHE'S SO MOE!~~     DON'T LET ME CRY! -Hinata and Yui knew eachother when they were alive! They loved eachother! And now... she's gone.. ;__; Wow, this was a surprisely good episode! I never thought I would say that again in the history of me posting on the Angel Beats board, let alone a Yui centeric episode. Also, watching after the ED credits, it looks like shit is going to hit the fan. Doesn't surprise me. |

| Wow... That made me feel melancholic... They were together when they died, but the other one left before the other... Great episode for YuixHinata fans. If they're going to show reincarnations of people in the real world, then I would like to see them together again. |

Do you really get what they said? The scene shown doesn't mean they really knew each other, it's also possible that they are imagining about their meeting with each other if they were still alive (Hinata's answer to her marriage wish). |

| It might be 'crappy', but if you liked it they certainly did something right =P. Well, that ended Yuri x Hinata shipping VERY definitively lol (and we got another teenage widower). Pity Yui couldn't stay... It would have been nice to add another couple to the Ascension Team. With the sweet romantic development, it does irk me a bit that we likely won't see the continuation of that relationship till the last 5-10 minutes of episode 13 in a distant epilogue montage. ;.; More than likely going to get serious from this point on. Episode count aside, they've 'killed off' the comedic moe blob... That definitely has no figurative implications >.>... ---------- I wasn't the only one to catch the Misuzu-dino/Potato plushie right? |

| Yui really redeemed herself in this episode. I also understand more why she is how she is. She's not that bad either once you get to know her it seems. They never said how Yui died did they? I got caught up in the episode and forgot all about this till 10 minutes later. Though I suppose "how" she died is unimportant in it's self, as that she never got to do much being alive anyways. Also some of her poses were just too freaking cute! (The third picture of ShibuyaRiver's post [1st post of discussion] I liked that one :D). I'm sad she's gone now :(. I only wonder though, was that the past? The futuret? Or her/both of their's imagination in a sense? Of them being together. A kiss as she disappeared would've been sweet :). But how serious both of them were was more than enough for me. Leave it to Hinata to figure out Otonashi's plan. 3 Episode's left....WHY!?!? |

I shed a little mental tear. -"I want to bend it like Beckham" Yeah, I don't think she said that :D -The Hinata thing was implied but it sure felt like it came a little out of nowhere (though I chalk it up to wanting to help her move on). I think this was to disprove that Hinata was gay :P |

I almost cried it was so cute :3 And then when I heard Ooyama scream it gave me chills because it literally came out of nowhere, I mean it's like "nice sappy song......BONE CHILLING SCREAM!" lol I wonder what that shadow is, maybe more Angel copies? |

| Without doubt, one of the best episodes for me I think. Touching and nicely paced, especially with that ending sequence of Hinata and Yui together. It's been rare but the comedy and drama actually worked well together in this ep, and there's lots of character development for Yui. (sniff) Even though it was just them imagining what if they'd met, Hinata and Yui make a great couple and it'd be great if it really happened. Glad that it was Hinata who made Yui happy and then disappear, because it would have felt wrong if Otonashi had done it just to get her to move on...(I still feel he's a traitor for plotting with Kanade behind everyone's back, and his method seems kinda forced) Looks like something serious will happen with only 3 eps left. (sigh) With many characters' backgrounds still unknown, I really think 13 eps is too short for Angel Beats... |
