Whats everyone's opinion on the english dub for the show and Minami Fuyuki having a minnesota accent

For me i think its pretty funny and pretty refreshing not hearing a American accent something a little different overall evrn tho it doesnt make much sense i like it pretty and i think it has a enjoyable element to it

I think that was a nice touch. Unfortunately Portuguese dub doesn't have this (although I'm enjoying its dub).

A clever way of giving an experience that is closer to the original cast’s voicing. Making her sound Minnesotan gives the same feel to an American from a large area like LA or NYC by using a recognizable regional accent, especially since Hokkaido is also a northern area. Reminds me of when English dubs use various Southern accents to suggest an agricultural region, like with Megumi’s villagers in Shokugeki no Souma. Now I’m curious what this show would be like with a proper London accent opposite a thick Scottish brogue.

I don't know the dub but Alaskan or Canadian accent would certainly be more fitting.

I'm not American but it did sound a little Canadian to me tbf. Not one for one but there was quite a few times were I could only describe it as Canadian because I don't know the exact accents.

It's probably my first time I'm gonna choose end dub over jap in anime, just because I want to hear that accent which I got used to from manga.
