Should I read the manga rather than the LN?

I was thinking of start reading from vol 4 of the LN because the anime butchered the source material. I don't feel like going back vol 1, 2, 3 so I wanted to know if the manga does that justice and if I can just read it from there.

I would definitely recommend the manga over the LN. Unless you don't mind, Amane repeatedly says how cute Mahiru is all the time. I got to volume 5 of the LN. There's literally pages of nothing except for how sweet or cute Mahiru is. Just feels like it copied and pasted in several volumes.

Don’t listen to the other guy. Read the light novel. The anime is farther than the manga so if you’ve watched the anime already there isn’t much point. The light novel is a lot farther in and is a lot better. The manga is also super good, just not far enough.
