| It's a trip to the mall for the our quintet. I thought Ling would buy Froggy a birthday gift, but all he wanted was noodles. I hope by the end of the entire series someone shows him that they can be rehydrated and eaten hot. I loved when Ling broke the hearts of all those magical items and the poor salesman spirit. The poor peacock feather thingy lost it's color and lustre. I wouldn't mind taking him out shopping. |

| I don't know how the same joke repeated over and over didn't get boring, but Wang Ling found a way. It even got funnier each time. It was probably just lucky. It's even funnier that the mall brought their misfortune on themselves by not accepting Sun Rong's offer to pay for everything. I don't think the PSA-like scene at the end of the episode needed to be included, though the moral of the episode was important enough that it didn't bug me too much. |

These dry noodle snacks are not the same as the ones you boil and eat. They are explicitly made to be eaten dry as a crispy snack and are quite popular in Asia.
