Best girl???

[SPOILER] i rewatch this series every Christmas and i was curious what others thought. I like Ayu, shes very cute and sweet and i get that their childhood best friends but in the anime their relationship kind of comes out of no where. So my question is, if yuichi didnt end up with Ayu, what girl do you think he shouldve been with? For me shiori is a clear winner. Makoto is my favorite just as an individual but as a possible love interest shiori and yuichi had the most romance and i think they pair really well together. What are your thoughts? Also of youve played the game which path was your favorite?

Obviously, it's Nayuki. She did her best to try to keep things together. Make life easier for Yuuichi from the very beginning, even though he ignored her efforts sometimes.

Nayuki is very considerate but i think for me personally she's a bit too timid. shiori is also shy but has more personality. i think Nayuki is the least fleshed out character. which isnt her fault but she is the one we get the least amount of story with. i do commend her for always sticking by yuichi while seeing him with all these other girls. thats not easy.

While I haven't watched this in a while, and I can't remember how they all interacted with each other I agree that Shiori would be the best choice. I liked her the most.

kanon has so many phenomenal female anime characters. its honestly hard to think of cuter characters from any anime

Ayu's my favorite, it's been almost a year since I finished this amazing series, but from the start she was my favorite girl. She was always entertaining, and her arc towards the end became my favorite in the series, UGU forever!
