 A television anime of Kaitou's Mob kara Hajimaru Tansaku Eiyuutan (The Story of an Exploration Hero Who Has Worked His Way Up from Common People) light novel was announced by HJ Bunko label's official X (formerly Twitter) account on Wednesday.Kaitou began penning the adventure fantasy series on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in April 2019 and submitted their work for the HJ Net Novel Award later that year, becoming one of the six winning entries. Hobby Japan began publishing the title under its HJ Bunko label in July 2021, featuring illustrations by Almic (Koi wa Futago de Warikirenai). The seventh volume went on sale on September 29, with the eighth volume planned for a February 1, 2024 release. Terio Teri began drawing a manga adaptation on the Dokodemo Young Champion web magazine in August 2021. Akita Shoten released the third volume on Wednesday. Synopsis Meet Kaito Takagi, your typical high schooler with a low profile. He spends his days exploring dungeons in Japan, hunting slimes for some extra cash. On the side, he quietly admires his childhood friend, the popular girl in class. One day, a rare golden slime shows up, and after Kaito defeats it, he finds a super valuable item—a card that can summon mythical beings! He decides to use it and summons a stunning warrior maiden.
