It has been so long since they've announced it nothing came out.which studio will it be i want see saitama and terrible tornado duo fighting it will be 🔥

if the studio is MAPPA (leaks) you can imagine how they will squeeze the juice out of the animators...so they probably not gonna see their families till early 2025

when i saw their eyes. man its really horrible to work that extant of time without sleep and rest, see even mayurama left that studio and he said that there is no competition for skill or talent,they're only focused on making money,whats going to be MAPPAS future

They haven't confirmed anything. But if it's really Mappa, i hope they taking their time. I'm fine waiting for another 2-3 yrs

where did you hear that Mappa is animating this season?

It's on Economic Times though I understand your concern since Their official Page denied this claim...but just saying

This is my number 1 anime series and I don't want this season to be rushed. I don't know if MAPPA is the studio animating it but I'm ok waiting till 2025 or so. I want the studio to be Madhouse or Bones.

It was supposed to come out this year, but we don't even know the studio yet. If they reveal the studio in 2024, maybe we get S3 in 2025. That's my best prediction.

Has to be 2025, it hasn’t been announced when one punch man will be released or anything like that and I’m pretty sure mappa will be working on it but the animators have been worked to death so we might not be able to see one punch man 3 in a show soon.

If it’s by mappa depending on how the strike goes or protests it might be delayed till 2025 or later

After what happened with Jujutsu Kaisen don't expect Mappa to animate it. They already have 3-4 projects for the next year.

With how frieren is popping off lately i'd not be surprised if Madhouse was to come back and continue with it. We just need Shingo Natsume back as the animation director... (copium).

I'd also really like if JC-Staff were given a second chance and had kind of a redemption arc and were able to prove everyone that they are indeed capable of adapting a high profile show such as one punch man successfully . I mean look at what they did with Bakuman and The Railgun anime.These two shows are peak in term of direction and production value especially railgun.

Mappa seems unlikely to me with how they're already engaged on so many shows for the foreseeable future.

I believe Shaft could pull it off but i'd prefer them to release the third season of monogatari or even of Sangatsu no lion (lol).

I think Ufotable is also out of question with how they're focused on Demon slayer and are married with type Moon (without even talking about the genshin anime concept trailer that out a year ago).

Maybe A1 Picture but i'm sure their best talents are already working on fate/ Strange Fake or Solo Leveling (fuck this boring ass power fantasy btw).

@Rocknblock You're missing Bones in here. I think, after Madhouse they are the best choice for this.

@This_is_Rahat I agree i did miss Bones. My bad. They are indeed a good choice for One Punch Man S3 and they are finally done with Mob Psycho 100.They are still working on MHA though but i think it is a relatively low priority for them

the talented staff are in Frieren rn. I don't think Madhouse will ever go back to producing mainstream shows. s1 was a big success because of the director and the producer Yuichiro Fukushi. Natsume probably is working on Lazrus with Watanabe ( my speculation). Mappa already cannot handle Hells Paradise, I'm 100% sure they're not doing OPM s3. At present only 2 Studios can afford to let loose and they're Toei and Bones. Point to remember is Yuki Hayshi( Bones animator) used to do a lot of work in MHA but after Mob psycho s3 surprisingly he hasn't done much, same goes with a lot of Bones staff. Shingo Natsume is also not involved in any project since 2022. It's either 50% Bones or 50% JC staff

Since there's no stage for OPM in Anime Japan 2024(kinda hope there will be hidden surprise), 2025 would be the year of release.
