| The cliffhanger for this chapter is nastier than it should be. Thankfully no break next week. Kuma may be there on government order because of Luffy's fruit. But adding this element now would feel so shoehorned. Another cool chapter that filled some blanks. That Drake was at Egghead as well explains why he knew about the Pacifista. In Ace's flashback we saw him getting a invitation to become Warlords, turns out he was the one who took him out. Would've been funny if they tried that with Luffy. The contrast between Navy and WG is becoming more significant with every chapter. I get it, Oda paints Saturn, the Gorosei and the whole WG as the uber bad guys while having a compassionate contrast with the conflicted Kizaru. Not the first time we had this, so it really makes me wonder when we'll see the majority of the marines fed up with serving this rotten organisation. Kuzan already left. Fujitora is with the people. Akainu has beef with the Gorosei. And now there are many potenial hints for Kizaru jumping the ship. Bro even danced the liberation dance. I only really dislike that some of the dialogue from Sabaody when Kuma. pulled up doesn't work as well anymore. Kizaru reacts like Kuma is a stranger   You really don't know?  |

| Congrats to Oda on reaching 1100 chapters! Oh shit, Kuma pulling up to Luffy's hometown? Oda is about to drop the nastiest bombshell next chapter before going on break 💀 Man...Kuma really is such a tragic character. Agreeing to all those terms for his daughter and she has no idea, and she continues believing they'll be reunited soon, not knowing what he gave up. So many familiar faces in this chapter as well. |

| Honestly at this point I would not be surprised if Luffy’s town got set on fire by Kuma or so. I hope not. Who knows. Have yet to confirm. That aside. This chapter St Jay Garcia is a deadly antagonist man. Like what the heck. I can see many people hating this guy to the very end. But Honestly I don’t expect him to be defeated or to die any time soon. He is way too important to he offed away. Plus if anything I think secrets or certain exposure and so forth should be revealed to the entire world and cause everything to fall into chaos if anything. Man what a chapter. Dear me. |

| Kuma's backstory is getting worse and worse, but it's something we've had to expect already. He had to offer up everything in order to save his daughter and never see her again in a human-way. Aside from that, it seems like Kuma is going to have a backstory related to Luffy now at the East Blue. That's going to be interesting. |

| THATS IT! Kuma's backstory is in the top 5 backstories of One Piece for me. Sweet Christmas has this been a rollercoaster of emotions, this chapter I can't even....Oda has never ceased to amaze me with how he pulls on the heartstrings from seeing how close Kizaru was to Kuma, Bonney and Vegapunk, the conditions Kuma accepted and now... 10/10 Chapter plz grab me a tissue ;( |

| Goda cooking for 1101 I can smell it, Didn't really get the last panel did Kuma go to goa to find a genuine vacation site or did he plan to meet luffy? because in thriller park he knew that Luffy is Dragon's son even Ivankov didn't know that... Overall really like the chapter especially the beginning with some great happy moments for Kuma, I guess that we will have few more chapters of the flashback because we need to see more plot points like Bonney becoming a pirate. |
| damn man i read this during my lunch break and i had to stop myself from tearing up in front of my coworkers cause everything kuma says is so damn heavy :( goated father, bonney won. was sick seeing doffy, boa, robin, etcs. reactions to kuma becoming a warlord as well. heartfelt chapter to reach the 1100 milestone, glad to have made it this far into peak and further we go. |

Kuma was never a pirate, he only be considered as one by the government.

| 1100th chapter... big deal. and a chapter that lives up to the milestone. we get to see how kuma became a warlord and why he was so obedient to the government. some nice panels showing the reaction the former warlords had when seeing kuma became one of them . mommy boa making her first appearance in awhile even if just one panel. end of the chapter has me super excited. we see a panel of luffy and that the world government has orders for kuma and that he's in the east blue. they must be sending kuma to handle the fact that luffy ate the fruit. i wonder what happens to make him not act on those orders. does he find out he's nika? guess we'll see next week |
| Finally we reach another milestone of 1100 chapters. Kuma's backstory has been really sad and tough to read. His Jolly roger is one of the most innocent looking ones. Marines are evil and the Gorosei are even worse. Oh but I wasn't expecting to see Luffy in that last panel, Goosebumps! |

| I was really hoping for some epic climax back to the present to celebrate 1100 but this was still good XD Kuma continues to be the best dude ever. Bonney and him are adorable Kizaru really growing on me. Can't believe he did the NIKA dance man i love it Khalifa's likely sister 10/10 bruyh Sabo actively reading the news makes it much weirder that he never saw Luffy or Ace... Super keen to see why Kuma is in Windmill Village. |

| I’m not gonna lie, this was my favourite chapter maybe all year. Kuma saying he’s so grateful that Bonney can get cured is actually heartbreaking. Seeing all the warlords is so cool too. I do wonder what kuma is at fushia village for though. Just to check on Luffy? Seems a bit strange to me, idk. |

| Not a huge fan of this flashback. Don't get me wrong, Kuma is a good character and there are some nice and touching scenes in there but the whole thing feels a bit... unnecessary. I think we all already had a pretty clear idea of what happened to Kuma and right now Oda is taking a lot of time giving us details that don't add much to the story. Like yeah it's sad to see Kuma forced to give up his free will but it was already sad 500 chapters ago when Iva saw him at Marine Ford. |

| Anyone else painfully aware that the Queen is wearing the same hat and coat that Bonney wore in her first appearance at Sabaody? I think shit is gonna get darker in the next chapter, considering it looks like at the end of this one Bonney is now wearing the same clothes she wore in Sabaody, except for Queen Connie's jacket and hat. |

| ahhh so that's where Bonney fell in love with pizza. every time she gets all sloppy eating a pizza she's transported back to those blissful happy days. amazing last few pages with all those flashback panels seeing what all those characters were up to at that point in the past. boy that was a treat! |
