| Yup, you are right. This OVA takes place after S1 and before the events of S2 like how we saw Rimuru still teaching the kids in Ingracia. It even says in MAL synopsis the same thing. IDK how people still don't understand this. |

But level with me. why didn't they animete the skipped content (rimaru becoming an adventurer) Yes Scarlet Bond is in the same league. I guess Rimuru becoming an adventurer and His adventures isn't important in the overall narrative than the civilization and world-building aspect of the series. |

| Except summoning demons, it isn't that important. Rimuru just can learn to coat his weapons in his aura by Great Sage and also through Hakurou's training by combining his Arts. Also he doesn't become an A-Rank adventurer and remains B+ only even in the novels which he mentioned in Volume 8 as it is too much hassle and being B+ already gives him many benefits and he doesn't want to stand out by taking more jobs by being an A-rank adventurer.
