| My goodness, I have been so impressed with this adaptation so far. I love the manga, and I am always apprehensive about knowing the source material prior to seeing the anime, but this has absolutely exceeded my expectations. One very underrated aspect to this adaptation has been the pacing. I was worried it would move along too quickly, skipping content, etc. (as many adaptations do), or that it would drag, especially since I know the story already. But every episode always starts with me thinking I know how far they are going to get, only to be almost shocked that the show is over well before the story beats I was expecting have even happened. So smooth. |

| Draht (Tempting to call him "drat" instead! XD) was taught a lesson of getting way ahead of himself as Frieren make easy work on him, resulting in his quick death. Although the fight was short, the animation quality for it was beautiful. It was good timing that she ran into both Fern and Stark. She didn't waste time in encouraging the pair to not let fear and nerves get the better of their judgement when it came to wanting to take on the other two demons, Lugner and Linia, saying that they're not weaker than those demons. Her words help the pair in their daring plan in breaking into the mansion and rescuing the chief of the town, which did succeed. Hopefully they can keep him alive, although I expect both Fern and Stark will have a tough showdown against the demon pair. I love the way this episode escalated so much towards the end, with Lugner reminiscing about the past when he once fought and lost against Frieren, after realising Fern's way of using magic was similar. The scene then transitioned to Frieren herself, all on her own, looking down upon Aura the Gullotine and a huge army of headless soldiers, with Evan Call's soundtrack in full blast, before Lugner says "Frieren the Slayer", which signalled the end of the episode. If that moment alone doesn't hype you up for the next episode, then I don't know what will! XD |

| gotta love the duo of fern and stark. frieren didn't hesitate to take out that demon, cold af. glad this adaptation is still consistent. |

| The fact that Frieren believes that her students can defeat the demons on their own is amazing. When the time comes she's a good teacher and understands very well their level. The fact that she took down that ego manic demon in a few seconds shows how powerful she is. Then we go on to learn she's even more powerful than than she's defeated more demons than anyone she is a slayer of demon-kind. She also knew that the demons magic is much lower than they think it is. Humanity has been studying their magic and have created spells to defeat them. She helped with that process. Dang this episode was good. |

| At first, Freiren running away to avoid justice for killing a guard, leaving her 2 friends to deal with the demon in the town. Epilogue: Freiren is going off to solo the demon army, who will soon know her as Freiren, the Slayer! Epic. |
