light, everyone hates Kira because he killed innocent people, but first, L did something horrible too, L caught two people who were suspected of being Kira 1 and 2 and arrested them bothTo make matters worse, L arrested the miste of an outdated girl and that could even be said to be torture and as if that wasn't enough, they carried out psychological torture with light and misa, pretending they were going to kill them both, that's a crime, there was no proof that the two were Kira, so they couldn't treat them like that! and not to mention that all the "innocent" people that Light killed had extremely accurate evidence and theories that could help L unravel the Kira case, the only person who kept killing innocent people for shit was Misa and the funny thing is, I don't see anyone talking, on the contrary, everyone loves her! Could it be because she is a beautiful woman?

In the bagining I liked Light, but then all of his motives changed, so I saw him as the villain. I perfer L because he is funny and also because he knew that Light was a bad person from the start

just rewatched show after 20 years, i heavily dislike Lighto now, he is just narcissistic teen without morals, like in episode 2? when he killed fake L on camera we could see that he is full of shit and will kill anyone who stands in his way not just evil people
