SAO IS SO OVERHATED

I really don't get people hating on Sword Art Online. Many people say it ruined itself after S1, Especially hating on Gun Gale Online (S2). While I agree that it took a different turn than what was expected at the start of show, the new storyline did not disappoint me at all. S2 having 6.7 rating makes absolutely no sense to me. SAO is a good show with great character development and moments, and the side characters are also well made. It might seem a bit of a harem from the outside, but the story says otherwise. The only annoying thing I feel is that each girl seems to fall for Kirito, but well, mc energy... The fights, the emotional moments and the different stories in each arc keeps me rather entertained.
I think it surely deserves more rating (especially GGO/S2, I liked its vibe sm). An 8-9 rating would do it justice.
