'Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjou, Aruiwa Sekai ga Hajimaru Seisen Season II' Unveils New Staff, Teaser Promo

The Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjou, Aruiwa Sekai ga Hajimaru Seisen (Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World) stage at this year's Fujimi Fantasia Bunko Thanksgiving Festival unveiled new staff and a teaser promotional video for the second season on Saturday. The new season adapting Kei Sazane's action fantasy light novel will air in 2024.

The first anime season by SILVER LINK. aired in 12 episodes in Fall 2020. Funimation simulcast the anime with subtitles and subsequently streamed an English dub. The second season was originally slated to air in 2023.

Sazane began penning the action fantasy light novel, also known as KimiSen, through the Fantasia Bunko imprint in May 2017, featuring illustrations by Ao Nekonabe. Kadokawa published the 15th volume on June 20.

Young Animal serialized a manga adaptation by okama (Himawari!) from May 2018 to March 2021. Hakusensha published the seventh and final volume in April that year.

Yen Press licensed both the light novel and manga adaptation in English in February 2019. The 11th novel volume went on sale on March 21, with the 12th volume planned for a November 21 release. The sixth manga volume shipped on June 20, with the seventh volume going on sale on October 24.

When in 2024 is the question. Winter is unlikely but hoping its in spring and we don't have to wait longer. Winter would be great though.
