Chances of the manga being continued?

Freezing despite the ecchi parts has a good story and setting with a decent fanbase. I have researched the creator and he is notorious for leaving an unfinished series to create a new one. What would be the chances of it being continued by the author, considering it wasn't too long ago when it went on a haitus? It did run from early 2007 to January 2019, 12 years.

Well, I am just glad the author reached a decent point in the story before leaving this story on a painful hiatus.

It is sad to say this but I would say, with fools like Radox Phantomheim, Earth is doomed due to Earth's "messianic scientist" having to unnecessarily struggle with stupid political enemies that make stupid choices because of some dumb paranoia issues. You have to admire Gengo if he didn't do something like escape to the Eluka world, while letting Earth's humans die from their own well deserved self-destructive fate. Chevalier's overall behavior shows that, even if "humanity is in danger," humans will always prioritize their political greed and excessive paranoia while making "survival" a minor issue.

At this rate, I can make a guess how the future turns out. After Earth's foolish politicians kills Gengo, Kazuya Aoi takes the realistic choices and abandons Earth by taking everyone he loves to the Eluka while letting Earth's arrogant population meet its inevitable doom where later Kazuya's aunts would be worshipped as the new goddesses of Eluka. Maybe it is a poor ending, for Earth, but it is sensible choice given how it is easy to guess that, with Gengo's political influence gone, women like Cassandra and Arcadia would be used as lab rats for the greed of the Chevalier.

Probably Ponkotsu Megami no Isekai Souseiroku (Defective Goddess' Genesis of Another World) is the time period after Earth's defeat millions of years later.
