I'm not sure if I like it... my sensei recommended it so I'll keep watching but, so far it hasn't been what I expected, which can be good.
A story that starts from the end of an adventure is quite rare so I'm excited to see what this anime is about.
P.s. I cried in the first chapter already so... looking good so far.

Wait, this is the first episode. Nothing happened, Frieren's character didn't change much from how she started out. I'm surprised this beat FMAB.
I'll try watching few more episodes, hopefully it gets better

They know what meteors are and they are shooting. She has planned out her next 100 years. Spell geometry. Still has ego even as old. He’s dusting memories. Forgotten spells in an unearthed Grimoire. Miscreant of the cloth.
Do you like magic? It’s decent. I don’t know what this story is going to be. Not quite hooked but I will give it time. Fantastic outro.

I like the overall feeling of the series, it plays out mostly like the script and visuals of a magical movie like The Hobbit, and doesn't feel scripted like your usual anime.

So here we go, finally I'll start Frieren. And it was a really great first episode, the visuals and music are beautiful. Very calm atmosphere, but still interesting, especially how the characters are interacting with each other. Guess we'll have a lot of timeskips, so far I'm impressed.
