| This movie basically makes Season 3 and the ONA easier to understand coz when I watched it on initial viewing, I found It weird and unexplained why Akane is jailed and how Ginoza and Kougami ended up with that foreign affairs organisation and much more like Kei and Arata’s relationship with Akira and Arata’s dad. Shouldn’t this be placed between SS3 and Season 3?? |

As for why it was labelled as Sequel to begin with , i believe there was rumors (or an official announcement) that this Movie would be a Sequel to the 3rd Season. |
