| The first Japanese live-action movie was decent. It sticks closely to the manga though for the most part, so if you've already seen the anime then you're not missing out on much. |
| i just finished a rewatch of the series and then watched the american one, and although it is by no means good, I felt it was perhaps over-hated due to unrealistically lofty expectations. It defo wasn't as terrible as I'd heard... I'd be interested to check out the Japanese one eventually too |
