| Depends on preference really. The anime is extremely faithful to the manga, it adapts everything and often recreates illustrations from it. It also has some really solid voice acting and a kick-ass soundtrack. The manga has more detail on the characters, which would simply be impractical to recreate in the anime. The manga's advantage is that you set the pacing yourself, and that means sometimes breezing through content at a breakneck pace, it's a highly bingeable series because of that |
| Both are okay. I personally prefer the manga more than Baki anime as they skip some parts of the story in anime. But in manga the story was described more accurately (not talking about explaining all the fighting moves like they are doing in anime, as sometimes it can become boring). But to each his own I guess. |

| i've read baki for years and i must say i've enjoyed the anime much more! the scenes are 1:1. you can read the chapters the episodes/scenes are adapted from. its amazing how 1:1 they are |
