I like anime with waifus and nice fights. Dont like too realistic artstyles, is it worth watching?

It’s an amazing anime with great action, characters, animation, humor, drama and phenomenal music. One of the best anime ever imo. Definitely worth watching.

you only really have 2 waifu choices in this show. But i personally love the show because of how well thought out and detailed the show is

This will be different from the usual style of most titles on your completed list, but you can't know if you like something new before you try it. Personally i would just advise you to give it a try for at least 3 episodes, because even if this doesn't have much 'waifus' and the artstyle is more realistic (very nice sword fights though, just don't expect colorful explosions like in Fate series), to me you seem to be interested enough to create a thread.

You can also try Cowboy Bebop first, it's directed by the same man (Shinichirou Watanabe) and is generally his more famous title. The female lead can be considered a 'waifu', it's set in fantasy/sci-fi setting, and the fights are more lively (beyond melee fights).

Without music it would be a nice 8/10 with some cool fights and interesting ideas. But the absolute vibes Nujabes, Shing02, Tsuchie, Fat Jon, Force of Nature and Minmi bring to the soundtrack, elevates it into my top 3 anime of all time.

yes I would say it is though I do also think it is Watanabe's worst. Cowboy Bebop is the obvious choice for number 1. Space Dandy however is superb in its own right and is often overlooked.

The characters, themes, subplots, music, and the journey aspect of some unlikely friends traveling through the edo period ( one of japans best ) together was breathtaking. Watching this anime while looking into every situations undertones a little closer than you might otherwise and truly trying to understand the emotions everyone desplays…it makes this anime special. The ending is bittersweet, but beautiful nonetheless. Watching this for the first time is one of the best experiences I’ve had. I’d at the very least give it a try if it sounds interesting. Imho, it’s worth the time.

If you're in it only for waifus and dislike a realistic kind of style, it might not be for you. But otherwise it's probably one of the best anime of the early 2000's era. 🚫🧢

It's a great journey with every episode having a unique story creating a bond with our lead characters with the best soundtracks, top class action, animation, good and not forced humor and especially A PERFECT ENDING

It had it's good points and ot had it's bad, I'd say it probably averages out as a mid show. Wouldn't say it's a "Must Watch" but the art style is decent.

If you like samurai and elements of hip-hop, yes. If you liked Cowboy Bebop, yes.
If I had to choose between One Piece and a girlfriend...I think I'll go with One Piece
