Watching EP 1-5 of S02 then this immediately after was amazing. It all fit together perfectly. Even the flashbacks were accurate to what ended up coming out in S02 over a year later. MAPPA is immaculate

I think they are releasing a recap for the film next week which will be enough for me personally. They will also do a season one recap the week after. The anime returns August 31st

Yeah I did the same exact thing and I was not expecting it to click together so well.

A tad off topic but I have a doubt, the anime is listed for 23 episodes so are the next two episodes( which are recaps) part of this? Or the official 6th episode will be the one that comes out August 31?

Hot damn! You are right! Just finished the movie after seeing part one of the Second seasona dn everything felt so in placed and made the movie even more enjoyable, knowing the emotions and background behind it.

Very true. I was planning on watching this before Season 2 started but I’m glad I’m waited. Knowing the context behind Gojo’s past, makes it more enjoyable.

Well, that's a coincidence, exactly how and when I finally decided to watch the movie. The only thing that's left is the recap episode of the first season and then I'm ready to dive in the shibuya arc.

I'm glad I decided to watch the first half of season 2 before watching the movie. Maybe, just maybe, if I hadn't done that, I wouldn't see Getou in a new, different light. Seeing him as purely evil and a maniacal person with a crazy vision in him. And it hits harder when I know how much Gojo treasures his friendship with Geto.
