Good grief this mc is to noisy can he speak in more calm way rather then keep shouting like a moron positively those couple dead because they shouting before and good question why this dude still alive ? Simple because he's a mc, if not he positively dead in the first zombie attack

I'm still not warming up to this show yet. I'm sure they're going for an apathetic dark humor for the MC, like in "Shawn of the Dead" movie, but it's not really working. As others have pointed out, he's just being obnoxiously loud and exaggerated. Normally I'd relate to the apathy/enthusiasm in the face of disaster, but not here so far.

The over-analyzing girl seems a lot more interesting than the MC, but given how exaggerated the MC is, and how exaggerated polar opposite the girl is being, the show seems to be setting up a stupid situation where the girl needs the MC, and then the MC slowly "fixes her seriousness" by making her like him, and she'd thank him for it. They already laid the groundwork for it by making her regret taking the sugary treat when thinking about how happy the MC was for getting beer.
