The 11th and final episode of Dr. Stone: New World announced on Thursday that the third season's second cours will premiere in October 2023.

Weekly Shounen Jump serialized Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi's post-apocalyptic adventure sci-fi manga from March 2017 to March 2022. Shueisha published the 26th and final volume on July 4 last year.

Produced by TMS Entertainment, the 24-episode first anime season premiered in Summer 2019. The second season debuted in Winter 2021. Dr. Stone: New World, the third season, premiered on April 6. Crunchyroll simulcast the seasons with subtitles, while Funimation streamed an English dub.

VIZ Media simulpublishes the manga digitally with the Japanese release through its Shounen Jump platform. The 25th volume shipped on April 4, with the 26th and final volume planned for a July 4 release.

I feel like my list is growing twice as fast just because most of the multi-cour shows are split now.

I'm tired of these split season shows. It's not like this one had a quality that would justify a need of taking a break in production. I'll probably forget most of things that happened this season by fall, the same way I forgot what happened in the last one. Funny how years ago you could get a 50 episodes show at the cost of 1, maybe 2 recap episodes, but now with less than half of that length you still get recap episodes and split airing on top of that.

Yeah it's amazing how lazy they've gotten, people acting like filler is worse than just straight up taking the show off the air need to watch more older anime.

what is it with everything being split cours now?? rarely anything is 24 eps and god forbid there be any long running anime. everything is just being split up over years and its becoming impossible to keep up with honestly

industry currently experience animator shortage. or to be more accurate, cheap animator shortage.

also when the last time long running series had success? the format no longer popular outside family oriented series. most people PREFER short one.
