This so far has been great, now I’m VERY invested in the story, seem like the characters will have depth which is always a good sign, and the power system seems interesting so far

Loving this manga more and more with each chapter that gets released. I’ve seen some say that this series is tropey which is understandable, but honestly, it’s no more tropey than Jujitsu Kaisen or My Hero. Honestly maybe less considering Tao isn’t just a straight up teacher and Alma already had the power before the series started. But that aside, I’m very eager to see where this goes, I think the characters are fun and interesting, and I can’t wait to explore this world.

It was ok but I didn’t really care about the character death cause I barely remember her. Seriously why are the updates so slow 😭 And now it’s a 2 month wait for the next chapter?? What is going on? I really wish this manga would update weekly.

It is serialized in the monthly Jump SQ magazine, so the mangaka would not be able to switch it to weekly except in very rare situations. One of the nice things about monthly serializations is that it is easier for the mangaka, so they are less likely to go on hiatus or have health issues.

So how is Al half of a dead thing? Was he conceived by one dead parent? Don't think so. This might be a Blade situation with a pregnant lady unfortunately dying. It makes sense with the Aizen like "watching him since he was born" line without making it the gross thing of Yomi being his dad (please no).
