| I didn't get around to watching episode last 11 week, so I watched episode 11 + 12 together. Def got pretty rushed in these last two episodes. Finale was overall good, no major complaints except that we never knew what was told to Miri about her mother dying? I mean, I'm gonna assume she was told she died. 10 years is a long time I guess but still. Rei's dad getting off the hook was kind of annoying. Also had a hard time with the fact that he didn't try to have Rei, Kazuki, and Miri get killed off later? Considering he was this petty cartoon villain who wanted a child murdered because Rei was "too attached". I guess you could argue that if Rei did kill him, the next guy put in charge would go after them and have them killed. Oh well. Will just head-cannon that the bastard died sometime during that 10 year time skip. And while I knew they were gonna go the "no-homo" route, since the story was about family, and the romance wasn't needed...the line from Miri in the epilogue reminding the audience that Kazuki is still a womanizer was a bit unnecessary? Also shows that he's not changed at all with how he has relationships with women if he's still a horndog who just wants to sleep around. Like it be one thing if Miri teased him about getting a girlfriend. Because then it would have at least shown he has moved on from the death of his wife, yadda yadda. Other than that it was nice to see Kazuki and Rei moving on from their hitman lives and opening a cafe. But what happened to the 13th episode? It was listed as 13 episodes at the very start of the season. So I wonder if a recap was planned from the very beginning. This anime would've benefitted from a 13th episode. Or they could've cut out one of the earlier episodes that was just filler and didn't progress the story/development of any of the characters that much. But all in all I'd say this was a pretty solid anime. It def tested my patience, because I hate kids lol. Miri was verrrry irritating during the first half of the season. She did become much more tolerable past the halfway point for me. |
| damn, i was not expecting a time skip right at the end in the slightest. guess the chances of another season is insanely low now but it doesn't need one tbh. it's pretty solid on it's own. pretty action-packed ending with miri's bright smile, pretty wholesome. i liked the balance of wholesomeness and action, well-animated action to boot. solid 8/10 for me, enjoyable all the way with some good lessons. |

| Never expected that there could be a time skip in the last episode. Thought there's going to be a season 2 but we'll not now. 6/10 anime. |

| Absolutely terrible anime, lame and predictable story, poorly written "cool" characters, annoying AF child character, literally the most generic "main" bad guy ever, ridiculous and boring plot twists, unnecessary drama, and really bad "try to sound cool and classy" soundtrack (I swear the opening song can give you ear cancer lmao), damn, even the title "Buddy Daddies" sounds cringe and dumb AF. The only good things I can say about this was the consistently good animation, and that I loved the nursery lady (Anna-chan <3), oh yeah I must say grown-up Miri was cute too, but none of these points manage to save this trash even a little bit. 2/10 - At least it wasn't a yaoi anime. |

| My heart broke when Miri's mama died but it was kind of predictable that she was going to die, it was either that or watch her suffer from the cancer (but I guess the producers didn't have enough time to fit that narrative in the story so they killed her off). She really wanted to do her best and even started learning how to cook for Miri, RIP Miri Mama. I'm such a sucker for good endings in time skips. I also enjoy twisted dark endings from time to time but for a series like this, i think it wrapped up nicely. For me it was a 9/10. The ending with grown-up Miri-chan was awesome. I wouldn't mind a second season with her being in high school or college and the two daddies somehow getting back into the mercenary business but I'm also happy with how it is now. |

| loved this to death. excellent finale and great way to end. seeing grown miri made me so happy. the collage of pictures also made me really happy to see. best childcare anime i've watched till date. easy 10/10. can't believe this is an original anime with a proper ending with all no loose ends. |

| The writing in this is just godawful, looks like a braindead person wrote it, they just put in an annoying and obnoxious brat and everyone will simp because "it's a cute little girl". The villains had so many opportunities to kill the trio but they simply point the gun at them and wait like complete idiots till plot armor kicks in, also given how Rei's father was obsessed he could have easily killed Miri since they continued to send her to the very same day care but it was only the mother who gets killed so stupid idiots can play their idiotic "happy family". 1/10, worst anime I've watched. |

| Eh didn't really like the last two episodes, felt way too rushed and forceful of a happy ending. Wish the anime just stuck with the SOL the whole way - almost everything outside of it (Miri's mother dying, the fighting/shooting scenes, Rei's father, the guy who's obsessed with people last words) were written pretty badly and swept under the rug. Felt like they were just shoehorned in for the sake of having a mafia boss plot. But otherwise, the SOL-focused episodes were great - most had a perfect balance of wholesomeness, humor, and some angst. Really enjoyable. Didn't like Miri at first, but she definitely grew on me. Overall, gonna give this show a 6.5-7/10. |

| It was a beautiful show! I remember reading a synopsis that said Kazuki was a big womanizer so I expected nothing good from him but it turned out the opposite, Kazuki was so warm and caring about Miri (until she grow up and it looked like he returned to the hunt, like the end showed us). The only thing that bothered me was the shooting scenes, daddies were protected by the script ffs. |

| That Ogino fight was sick as hell! The way he went out was awesome, nice brutal symbolism. Really glad this had a happy ending, wasn't expecting it considering the moral implications of two assassins getting to live normal lives, but I'll sure as hell take it. Could have used an extra episode so the final conflict didn't feel as rushed but whatever, what they came up with was still polished and emotionally impactful. The post-timeskip scene was very sweet, love how Miri retained her sunny personality as she grew up and Rei learned to genuinely smile :-] The only thing that really bugged me was that Miri mentioned Kazuki sneaking off to go drink with a woman when they were talking about "honest work", which makes it sound like Kazuki works as an escort or something?? Maybe I'm just horribly misinterpreting it lol, the placement for that line was weird is all. I do wonder what they did for work leading up to the opening of the diner. Amazing show, never thought I'd end up loving it this much. Not sure what to do now after living friday to friday for the past few months, I'll really miss seeing these three every week. |
| Nothing like ending a wholesome show by taking down a criminal organization, that was great. Though it definitely felt a little bit rushed, could have used at least 2 more episodes, but benefits of being an anime original, it was still really solid. The way Ogino died was poetic, for someone that's obsessed with final words. Definitely did not expect them to just throw the lighter then boom though. I am going to miss this show honestly, would have loved to get more of that epilogue, but again, still pretty solid and satisfying. 8/10 |

| Honestly wasnt sure how this was going to end, sure its sad that the whole family couldnt be there, but it was still a pretty good ending. And then the time skip to them all grown up is just ends it off in a super wholesome way. Good show |

| I really enjoyed this so much. The ending was great and frankly it did have its faults but was well rounded and left that warm fuzzy feeling behind. AOTS material for sure. |

| What a satisfying ending. I'm glad it ended well. I cried when they play the opening while I saw the grown up Miri. They really are a family now. I'm so happy for them. 8/10 |

| Action packed Season Finale. I'm so glad it wrapped up so nicely, i have a thought maybe they gonna pull up tragic ending where Miri ended up being alone or something. Didn't expect the time skip at all. Miri look so beautiful and still cute. "Family is more than Blood" Happy Ending for Kazuki, Rei & Miri. 8/10 very enjoyable, emotional and fun from the start till the end. This is why i love P.A Works Original Anime, LET THEM COOK!! |

| Its snowing!, Miri is as energetic as ever in the morning. Miri's daycare is gonna sing and Miri hopes that Kazuki & Rei are gonna be there, its an pinky promise. Kazuki & Rei gotta handle something first before they gonna attend the school singing, so they ask help for some gear from Kyu. When arriving at Rei's father home the action begins, Kazuki storms with the car at the house but the car breaks down, Ogino sniped it. Inside the gunfire goes on and on until they are up against Ogino, It almost goes wrong but they manage to kill Ogino in an outsmart move, and then they blow up the whole kitchen or put it on fire. Kazuki is gonna secure an getaway car and Rei is gonna have 1 on 1 with his father, he says that he will be leaving the organization and that he is done, he even shoots his own arm to prove it. When all is done they all go back to Miri's daycare, and that song was cute. Couple years go by and we see Miri actually grown up, that was incredible to see, Kazuki & Rei are now running an diner as well, I guess during the years Miri came to know what happened to her mother when she said goodbye to her on the picture, I can't imagine how sad that was for Miri, but I'm happy that she's doing well, what an way to end the series. |
