| Akio is easily the best character in this whole series, but it's exactly because he is supporting character. Similarly to Gojo from JJK, he is the protagonist of the story that concluded. |

| I don't prefer them more than the others but I would like to see their past though where they were just in their teens. That would be interesting to watch. I don't really know where you'd get the information where Akio & Sanae are less popular but I do however like them even if it is so for others. This thread may simply want to give love to Nagisa's parents. |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| I agree with you. Akio and sanae are most adorable. I love their dynamic and how incredibly playful they are. Their silliness and those bits they do are endearing. I think they have more personality/character and make the show more interesting. Akio is obsessed with his wife and it’s refreshing. It’s nice to see a married couple acting like little kids. They’re wonderful parents and so welcoming towards tomoya. There’s a lot of love there I believe. |

| They're pretty fun, I'm surprised that they aren't mentioned more often, though I don't tend to look at lists like that. |
| Akio is definitely the only character I like in the show. |
