| -I really did not expect an Endoh insert song for this. I hope we get that every time Yusei uses Shooting Star from now on. -That sure was a lot of padding for Yusei to just play one card, but I'm glad he finally got it done. I was honestly a bit more interested in Aki saving that kid somehow. -Next episode looks insane and awesome. |

| if you ask me, i also think that they killed aki it's like they put her as a second character... |
| Maybe it's just that I'm so used to seeing female characters like Anzu and Asuka (and technically Mai) completely shafted in terms of the development angle, but I don't think of Aki as that much of a secondary character. I mean, she was just put in a coma and it's not like she wasn't racing with the guys in the last match either. I'm just so used to the girl doing absolutely nothing over the course of the series that even a little bit of focus on the girl is a major improvement for me. |

| Oh my god, that was so HYPE! Shooting star dragon had one of the best introductions I've seen from any yugioh monster. The song that came in (clear mind) was amazing. Time for Yusei to turn things around. Sorry, Placido, but you're history! On the aki side of things: I agree that her saving the kid without her powers was nice, but not using her powers anymore basically eliminates the whole premise of her character. I don't understand wha she meant by she was 'borrowing' the powers. I thought the powers were inherently hers and were magnified due to the signer mark. Sad that they threw out such potential characters like Carly and Aki (heck even Misty), but what can you expect in yugioh? |

While BEWD is nostalgic, there's nothing aesthetically pleasing about its design imo, especially in the DM anime where it looked horrendous 90% of the time. Plus Shooting Star Dragon has effects unlike BEWD. I thought it was sad how Carly's become a gag character; they should've written her out of the show if they were going to treat her like this. Also Aki's subplot was so unneeded and was that little girl made of paper or what? Yusei barely surviving Wisel's attacks made me roll my eyes especially when he summoned the one monster that could save Stardust Dragon. The insert song was cool though. |
| Shooting Star Dragon! I never got to use it in a duel. But, I've always wanted to make a Stardust deck. Though, even in Duel Links I tended to lean more towards Naturia. It's hard for me to ignore Naturia~ |

that guy really likes bees and bikes. Yusei the 🐝bee. i was gana say about Aki (the rose girl) 's power maybe its gone cos she got in the accident with the bike. but then again she tried using it when she was about to hit the ground but failed. yeah i think she is becoming useless. but she's still a good duelist. also we haven't see an upgraded rose dragons like the rest of the gang has had upgrades. maybe she will get one later. |
