| I got to watch the movie before this episode so I suffered no spoilers. That aside, it was a great compliment to the movie, to see Gold D. Roger and Gerp in action was epic, overall it felt a bit short (And it was) so some scenes were rushed. They should have made it a 45 mins long episode. |

| This is amazing so many familiar faces. Rayleigh, Shanks, Buggy, Garp, Jaguar D Saul(I think?), Crocus, CP9... pretty much every lovable character from episode 1. Shanks searching for Yasopp was pretty interesting. I want to know more about Shanks' crew. I died when Sanji was born looking like his wanted poster, cursed child was too funny. I would rewatch the fuck out of this |

| Glad I watched this before Strong World! It's really interesting to see what the world and characters before the Straw Hats- most of the crew weren't even alive at this point! Poor Brook and Robin weren't having a great time at the turn of the era though ;-; Loved seeing baby Ace and Hatchan, so cute!! Liked the cameos all the big names made at Roger's execution- Doflamingo, Crocodile, Shanks, Mihawk, Buggy Seeing the way Buggy was on Roger's ship just further cemented him in my mind as last era's Usopp lmao |

| The experience seems to be WAY better watching this after the movie. Man, that was awesome! With so much disconnected flashbacks troughout the story, sometimes it's difficult to keep track of what was happening to everyone on Gol D. Roger's final days and some time after. I'm glad this short OVA exists to clarify some of those things, and it was very nice to see most of the important characters on the time prior to the show's timeline. Too bad we can't see Sengoku, Garp and Roger fight properly yet, guess it would spoil too much (considering until episode 429, when both this OVA and Movie 10 were launched). Every timeline freaks like me would certainly love this. :) |
