Maybe say that its a story about fate, where dio was born with an awful fate being born into poverty with an alcoholic father and dead mother. From there he was able to rise on his own despite his fate of being born there and eventually reached massive power. Jonathan had a similarish upbringing where his mother died when he was super young and while his father wasn’t an alcoholic, he wasn’t attentive enough causing him to be a bit of failure shown through things like his rude manners at the dinner table. However, meeting Dio completely changed his path in life causing him to grow into a great man, which can also be similar to fate where he was meant to meet dio and become the chad jonathan.
