| New chapter, at last! Almost 60 pages and with few pages in color. Great. I liked it. The story reminded me of more timid moments from the original manga, which was really a nice touch. Not to mention such slice of life setting served perfectly to catch a breath after so intense and filled with action previous arc. Also, Goten has proven to be best bro, definitely. |
| We had a timeskip and we're focussing on teen Trunks and Goten for now. I like that this is something different for a change and looks like this arc will tie into the latest movie too. |

| Having not yet seen the latest movie, I admit I'm somewhat worried about this how this arc is going to connect to it. I'm sure I'll lose something out but having not experienced the movie yet, but how much is the question? I truthfully don't suspect that mean, certainly not in terms of understanding, but in terms of resolution that might be a problem. If this takes place before the last movie like the comments suggest, then I hope we don't spend too much time dedicated on this arc if the ending is going to be just a "watch the movie" ending, or if there's little sense of resolution. Or are we actually adapting the movie in full this time around instead of skipping it like they did for Frieza & Broly? I'm not a fan of that approach either. Tbh, having not seen the movie but knowing it's existence, I feel like this chapter could stand alone as a sort of set-up chapter for the movie, feels like it stands alone in that sense. But as for the chapter itself, I enjoyed it more than much of the last arc, but can't say I truly loved it. On some level, I find Trunks more unlikable than amusing, and them repeating the Saiyaman gag with Goten & Trunks feels a bit lazy. Them being a duo or inspired by a specific hero doesn't feel like enough of a distinction to me, still feels like they're recycling gags, which is fitting for the cleanup schtick I guess. Still, there's some fun to be had here, Dino's a real cute pet, I like the scene with Trunks on the bike paying for the hot dog and saving the baby for the litter, and Goten was chad throughout. And it is good to cut away from Goku & Vegeta for a bit. |
| Finally! back to earth with teen Trunks and Goten. This is one of the main things I love about dragon ball, the slice of life arc type things. They're just so chill and fun. Can't wait to see all the characters that we haven't seen in a long time like Gohan and Piccolo (except from seeing them in super hero) excited to see how this arc goes on! also I wonder if Trunks and Goten will maybe unlock new forms, would be really cool |

| When are we? Have we finally stepped foot into Epilogue territory? I wasn't expecting to see Teen Goten & Trunks, and, presumably, not having seen Super Hero yet isn't helping me out in terms of navigating the current timeline. Nevertheless, it was an interesting chapter, considering Super has basically been all fights and no slice-of-life until this point. I'm looking forward to what's next. Teen Gotenks mayhaps? Edit: Looks like this arc is actually in my favor, as it's just a retelling and extended version of Super Hero. |

| I always loved the Saiyaman stuff in the Buu saga, so in a way it's nice to see a return of it. However, it also feels like too much of a rehash in a way. Another highschool setting, superhero costumes, poses, low stakes ... It's neat, but not exactly creative. Lmao at the name "Rulah" though. Still remember Erasa and Sharpner as well. |
