| Topic is pretty much self explanatory. I hate baseball. I don't understand it and I don't want to understand it. But I really, really love Seinen anime. There are not enough anime described as Seinen and so, I wanna watch all that I can find. So will this anime despite the baseball crap, appeal to me? Will I like it? |

| Certainly by the looks of him, he seems to be an interesting character. But that alone can't help me make my mind. The real question is, how heavily does the anime rely on baseball for it's plot and character development? If it's about baseball games, chances are I'm not gonna like it.. If it's about baseball players dealing with all sorts of other shit besides baseball, then I'm willing to give it a chance. I mean, if the baseball elements of the anime just serve as its background, and it's more about its characters and the story, it's probably gonna be good. |

| I heard that the anime shows the battle of wits among characters. Either way I happen to be interested in One Outs as well. I'd say give it a try; watch a few episodes and see if you want to continue. |

| its sorta like a Kaiji/Akagi meets baseball so if one of those got your interest first One Outs should be totally fine. yes it involves baseball all the time but its like gambling and outsmarting the other teams that cheat among other things. |

| not sure what you mean by that first part. yes its all baseball matches but thats not the important part in the least,its the rest of it. kinda like how in Akagi its all about mahjong but thats not the important part lol,hard to describe really unless you seen series like those ^^;. and even if you hate the sport doesn't mean you would hate the anime..i hate every single sport out there and i watch sport series and like them lol. |

| ^^ alright, the games don't start till like episode 3 so you get a feel for how the main character works and such before the actual baseball part. lolz, and hope you like it ^^, one of my top like 5 Seinen as well actually(Kaiji and Akagi are 2 others lol) |
