If you enjoy basketball then I’d recommend Slam Dunk. It doesn’t have all the “super powers” like kuroko but the story and characters are really enjoyable. takehiko inoue is too clean with it in the manga.

Watch Blue Lock alongside it. Don't watch Haikyuu alongside it (watch it after) due to the difference in how they depict their sports (KNB + Blue Lock are like shonen sports anime with flashy visuals and unrealistic situations while Haikyuu is more grounded). Try giving One Outs a shot too, quite underrated imo. All of them are super fun to watch for their own reasons.

I agree with Haikyuu don't watch alongside because they have similar storylines. 😂 For example, Asahi Azumane (Ace) and Kiyoshi Teppei (Iron heart). Both leave and return after a year or so. One was due to injury 🤕 and the other is is due to self confidence. Don't make that mistake 💀

Blue Lock and Hajime no Ippo

Ao Ashi, Diamond no Ace and Haikyuu are less flashy and most sport shounens follow similar A+B plots so might as well lean into the over the top flashiness while ur at it, they’re all worth the watch

Ahiru no Sora if you want some grit
