| The ending theme is godly. Easily the best one yet. The animation was great. They captured the cinematic experience of the manga perfectly this episode as well, felt like I was watching a damn movie. |
| Crunchyroll can kiss my ass with its godawful servers. Piracy it was for this week's episode. While the CGI is still noticeable, it's not bad at all so I'm not going to nitpick it every other week. Otherwise art and animation was good especially the background art. I never found the bat devil moments that interesting in the manga, so story wise the episode was okay but I'm more eager for the upcoming weeks. And ED3 was a chaotic spiritual experience, Also, finally got this panel animated:  |

| In terms of how the plot progressed, it was good, but I was left a bit wanting for more. Denji's motivations are so straight-forward that it's just flat out hilarious. The animation was better than Episode 1's action, and the CGI was implemented in a more fluid manner. ED this week was good, but my least favourite so far. |
| Best out of the three episodes thus far. I really like how Power's backstory was done here. The fight with the Bat Devil was also pretty good, but the CGi is still noticeable, albeit, not as bad as in episode 1. I guess it's something I'll have to get used to, since its obvious that Mappa won't stop using it. |
| 3/5 A fairly decent episode but in my opinion, the weakest one so far. I loved the adaptation of all the scenes with Denji & Power. The animation perfectly portrayed their dynamic this episode be it their constant bickering, adoration for their respective pets and generally solidify how their relationship is going to pan out over the course of the story. I loved the osts during the critical scenes, invoked the perfect catharsis required. In terms of adaptation, I have no strong criticism yet because the anime is really capturing the cinematic tone very well but the action direction this episode was left much to be desired. It's not that the CGI or animation was weak or anything but the actual direction itself. Some instances were goofy and just some close up shots with little to no movement . Just some minor nit-picks but again, it is clearly visible and seem to be general consensus. But, does this mean we're doomed for future fight or action sequences? NO...look, these guys know what they're doing and will stay true to their vision and direction for the manga which is very much supervised by Fujimoto himself. Sure, it was not the most revolutionary fight scene or upto the generally magnificent fight choreography standards of MAPPA but the thing is... we're only starting. This was just the first of many memorable action sequences the story has to offer and I have full faith on Nakamura & co. to deliver us on that end in the future. But for now, their action direction do need some work Overall, a satisfactory episode. The ED was godly and full of symbolism & spoilers. My favorite so far. I was not over the moon over this episode or anything but the most critical moments hit very hard and true to the original source material. Can't wait for the next few episodes. We're gonna get a new crop of characters which im eagerly looking forward to |

| Wtf there was no reason for that Bat Devil fight to go that hard. MAPPA put their whole BUSSY into that shit. What else is there to say, amazing adaptation of this fight, the animation was fire as usual, the music was hype, this couldn't have been done any better. This adaptation is in good hands and if they went this hard on the Bat Devil fight, I can't wait to see how some of the later fights look. |

| This episode was perfect. I felt so many emotions watching it, it's crazy. Kesuke Ushio's music is perfect for Chainsaw Man. The fight looked amazing, the cinematography was absolutely beautiful. Chainsaw Man is shaping up to be my favorite anime of the year. It's definitely going in my favourites if Mappa keeps this up. |

| Amazing freakin' episode. Animations were godly and even the CG bits looked MUCH better than in EP1 (not that they ever looked bad). Easily the best episode yet in my opinion. |
