| Ugh, so many CG crowds. How about coming up with shots that don't make you rely on something so awful? Even still shots are better. CG during the fight was pretty off putting as well. Now the complaints after the first episode are in order. Putting that aside, how could oni not notice a giant bat without an arm crawling on the roof behind? Couldn't she just kill it? Did the bat feed the cat all this time? Is this all this show has to offer? It's pretty bland to be honest. Not a single likeable or interesting character. I doubt the premise of a guy partially turning into a chainsaw will be fully utilized either. It's a repeat of that show with a guy with gun for a head. It also sounded intriguing on paper but turned out to be utter crap. Not sure if it's worth to stick for more than 3 episodes. |

| Makima getting scary right at the start...Just what we want to see. I had kind of forgotten about that whole bat devil fight, so was cool getting to see the way that played out. Also, the feelings Power has for that cat was shown perfectly. We really got to see it. Making Denji fight even harder. |

| Edgy kids probably hated that Denji cared for the old man and his grandchild lmao. I wonder if the anime adaption will keep adding some compassionate moments. Sick episode. I loved the shot composition and how the environment was used during the action. Honestly, the CGI worked well and didn't bother me at all. The characters truly shine in this adaptation. Denji and Power quarreling like siblings had me smiling. Power the bratty little sister.... |

| The fight between Denji an the Bat Devil was just amazing. The ending is also quite enjoyable and Denji and Power are just like figthing siblings lol. |

| Okay, Power is easily my favourite character in this series so far and all it took was for her to showcase how much cats like her and how she likes them in return. As a cat fan, I couldn't be any happier! =P Having said that, it was sad to see that bat devil hold her kitty friend, Meowy, hostage and demanded that she'd bring a human so he can drink their blood. Since the human in question was Denji, the bat wasn't happy and swallowed Meowy and Power. This didn't go down well for Denji, as Power promised to let him fondle her breasts if he could successfully rescue Meowy, so he responded by activating his chainsaw powers and going to town on the bat devil. As with the first episode, the fighting animation was as great as ever, but I have to say that the CGI was handled even better. Overall, it made for a crazy, but satisfying fight with Denji coming out on top. This episode's ED song was rather interesting, though. Part of it felt reminiscent to the random craziness of Deathnote's second OP song. Fitting for the episode, but still crazy. XD |
| Garbage and fanservice episode. The demon's decision making totally do not match his intelligence. Beautiful episode, very well animated but character and intelligent wise, a garbage. |
