| I’m gonna say it, the actions scenes keep ruining the episode for me. They keep trying to set our expectations so high it ends up being disappointing. The CGI is not bad, but it completely and utterly interrupts the flow of the action scenes, which already lack intensity. Although they look good, it feels like something’s missing. So far the best parts of each episode were the interactions and personalities of the characters. |

| this ep was just wow ● power being scolded by makima lol, makima telling denji to control her so denji goes immediately into defense mode ● power telling how her cat got kidnapped while denji only wants one thing, he enjoyed his drink though ● power literally backstabbing denji when they reach the house because power made an deal with an devil and then the devil literally be backstabbing power by eating her cat meowy and her, what an twist ● that fight scene was intense, denji going all out on the devil and winning at the end ● ending credits and song slaps so hard, its amazing |

| now this is cinema. ed fits this anime perfectly. listening to the ost is not enough, i need it in my veins!!! the chainsawman model looks way cooler in full 2d but the 3d is also really good. can't wait for my boy to touch some boobs.  |

Chainsaw Man's shift from a good action shounen to an all time great will be more gradual and slow. Fujimoto is the kind of writer that likes doing a lot of setup before he starts doing payoffs so you would have to wait. Atleast let them introduce the main plot yet. More than half of the cast hasn't even been introduced yet either. If you wanna see why CSM is so hyped I would suggest you to either wait till the anime starts adapting the later volumes that is vol 8 to vol 11 or just read the manga instead. |

| That ending was pure insanity. Very fitting coming from the band behind Death Note's "What's up, people". Regarding the episode itself, I didn't expect the actual fights to look this good. The fact that they show "Devil Denji" (not sure what the transformation is actually called) as little as possible probably helps. |

| The music was awesome in this episode, and I loved this ED song from Maximum the Hormone wayyyy more than the previous week. I loved their songs prior to this, and even their Death Note OP was awesome in capturing the live breakdown of Light Yagami in that opening form. And they did a hell of a job with this ending too in radiating that chaotic yet hype energy really well here, with visuals complementing that batshit intensity so well. Rest of the episode was decent, not as enjoyable as the previous episode but this was still a fine showing. The action still isn't perfect with the CGI since like the first episode, had moments where it looked really damn great and moments where it felt off and immersion-breaking, but this fight with the Bat Devil wasn't as distracting in its flow and CG usage as the first one. The music definitely carried the fight's atmosphere and energy for me more than MAPPA's animation for this fight since there was some weight lacking to it that didn't hit the same kind of intensity and brutality as the manga, but for the medium, it did a solid enough job to still have a cinematic feel to it despite some weight issues being present at times. There is actual efforts in being creative here with the sequencing so I won't go too hard on it, plus the backgrounds and other character acting displayed the episode through frames and various shots were really solid too. The compositioning has been a big step up for me in this series than a lot of MAPPA's other major hits in recent times so that's a good sign 3 episodes in. |

| Good animation but holy fuck im not a fan of that director. The fight felt extremely slow and it boggles my mind why the tone of this adaption is so serious when CSM is just a fun and goofy shounen filled with movie references. |

| The animation was amazing but It can't be said same abt the fight, I mean it was good but it could have been wayy better with wide range shots. I think it had too many close up shots. For example take Levi vs female titan  And now imagine this fight with close up shot than these types of wide range shots, it won't look good as it looks now right? Nothing disappointing abt the Ep but I am just slightly underwhelmed with the fight. |

| I'm pleased with how the adaptation is proceeding so far. I don't like the CGi they use for him though. With the hype surrounding this, they could have done better. They can afford a big budget here. I also think that the tone is a tad more serious than in the manga, but that's just a matter of taste for us that read the manga back in the day. |
