| Nothing but Hironori Tanaka's supremacy in this episode. Pure KINO. Absolutely beautiful animation and action and peak character acting in this episode. It was nice to see some chemistry being developed between Power and Denji. The direction and storyboarding in this episode were stellar. Really impressed. Loved seeing the wholesome relationship between Power and Nyako and then Pochita and Denji. Incredible action. Peak CGI. Peak OST. Also, incredible ED song from Maximum the Hormone with absolutely chaotic visuals. Great job, MAPPA, and all the staff involved. |

| People shouldn't be too honest with their intentions but then there's Denji, you go with boob trick and guy for one-thousand percent will accept whatever he's told to do. I mean he didn't even for once doubt that super cliché story of the devil snatching Power's cat away, which anyone should've despite it being true. Though the highlight, Denji vs Bat devil, one of those earlier hype worthy gory mess did go the way as it was played out in manga, plus with Mappa going fuckin metal, from nil censorship to bop soundtrack and then finally the way the whole thing got animated. Mappa racking W’s after W’s. Fucking Chainsaw man, yes sir. Liked how ED suited the tone of this episode. |

| Power stealing the kill of the Sea Cucumber Devil, she's just the unhinged Fiend that she is, pushing the blame onto Denji for her own actions. But whatever it is, Makima will not tolerate mission impossible, and instead pushes for both her and Denji to work together despite their hatred for one another. Power's love for cats, even owning one she took care of, she is very fond of them, though Denji just wanna fondle some boobs, and Power offers hers in exchange for Denji killing a Devil that took her Meowy hostage. To that extent, Power is given a curfew that Denji has to take care of, and he's just ogling at her boobs either way since this partnership seems to be in tatters. While Aki deems Denji as "disgusting" instead of Makima thinking that he's "interesting", Power's lure for Denji's naiveté leads them both to the Bat Devil, whom the Blood Devil offers Denji as a sacrifice, but failed to do so, and the consequence of that is getting Meowy be eaten by it, with Power suffering the same consequence. Denji, within the conscience of knowing what Power went through, turned as the Chainsaw Man to fight against it, and this fight is NOTHING short of its brillance between the devil's killings and Denji's persistence to cop a feel. Motivation sticks harder than glue, that's Denji's ethos to get what he wants. The most gory and violent episode ever, backed by Maximum the Hormone's ED. |

| Man, the OST of this show is so...elegant, even this episode. Glad to see this anime continues keep up with the action and violence. Denji fought that monster with a badass. Pretty solid chereography by MAPPA if you ask me. The episode ed theme song was enjoyable too. Damn, this show knows how to finish an episode. |

| The episode I've been waiting for. Perfectly delivered soundtrack along with incredible animation for the Bar Devil fight. Denji was the fucking goat. Holy shit, the action sequence was actually beautifully animated. Although, it had a lot of close-up shots which made the fight a bit less fluid, but overall it had solid smoothness and the cgi was perfectly blended in with the background and 2D animation on top of it. I couldn't even notice it, until the end where he stood on top of the bricks. Power's reactions were so cute when Denji stood up for her cat. Also, the bond between them grew stronger in this episode by Power's betrayel, but they both have something in common. Also, this perfectly showed why I don't like Makima's VA. The characters themselves notice how scary Makima actually is and we're listening to a loli-ish voice. Aside from that, the third opening actually fits CSM so well. I fucking love it. CAN'T WAIT FOR KATANA MAN! |

| The action animation went complete nuts for the majority of the fight but it's so weird that one of the final scenes of Denji literally standing and not even moving at all is CG while majority of the fight is pure 2d or 2D blended, like what even was the decision there?? Anyway, TNK AD is an absolute blessing, so crisp drawings, wish we got some more KA from him but with SB/ED, I guess that's very hard to expect. The action directing on the other hand leaves a lot to be desired, especially, with Yoshihara on the role. Crazy ED. |

| another week of blue balling myself by watching chainsaw man weekly. this one was a good episode too. liked the first half a lot. we got some action in the second part but it left much to be desired. felt like the fight was dragged out or maybe i was just feeling impatient. in any case it took denji a lot of time to transform and a lot of time to finally gut the devil. the fight sequence in between them were good though. the animation was great. chainsaw man is still in cgi but that's not a problem. didn't expect power to decieve denji like that. huge respect for denji to still save her, he's at least got his priorities straight. bro's literally getting into death fight with devils just to cop some tits, that too isn't confirmed if power will let him or not. the little power backstory we got was good. cats really are the best, capable of making even devils human. that devil's meal plan made me LOL. everytime denji mentioned he wanted to cop a feel i would start laughing. seeing him fight so hard just because he wanted to touch some boobs made me laugh everytime i thought about it. imagine he finds out about hookers lmao. it's gonna be really sad if he doesn't get to cop a feel after all this. |
