 ABC Animation opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Masayuki Abe's Tsuyokute New Saga (New Saga) light novel on Wednesday, revealing the main staff, cast, a teaser promo, and teaser visual (pictured). AlphaPolis began publishing the novel with illustrations by Ryuuta Fuse in April 2013. The tenth and final volume shipped in June 2018. Jun Miura began drawing a manga adaptation on AlphaPolis' AlphaPolis Web Manga website in February 2014. The ninth volume shipped in August 2021, with the tenth volume scheduled to be released on October 20. The light novel and manga combined have over 800,000 cumulative copies in circulation. Synopsis After a fierce battle, Magic swordsman Kyle finally killed the Demon Lord after being seriously injured in the battle. Kyle on the verge of death approaches a relic which was in possession of the Demon Lord and it sends him to the past. After recovering from the initial shock, he decides to use this opportunity to avoid making the same mistakes of the past and become stronger. | What? This series is getting an adaptation? LMAO. It's pretty old. I've read it last month and I was like "Why it didn't get a anime yet?" You know it's not that good but studios are adapting almost every isekai manga and novel to animes even tho most them are trash but this one is not that bad. It's mid but yeah, I would prefer this to other trashes. |
