| It's starting out a bit slow, and Denji's your typical MC so far, and he's living the good life! Makima, Aki, and Power are all enjoyable to watch. Animation looks fine, and I had a few laughs so far. Hope it gets better from here on out as the story picks up. |

| I liked this episode way more than the first one. Power is a cool character, also I liked how they focused more on characters' interactions instead of random piles of corpses and rivers of blood, which looked ridiculous in ep 1. Denji destroyed that guy's balls lmao what a dick move Still can't get over the best character's death in ep1 though, I wanna see more of the chainsaw-dog thing |

| Nice to see Aki and Power make their debuts. Power is just as crazy as I remember and her VA is doing a good job of bringing that out. Poor Aki, getting his balls kicked like that lol. Denji is a simple man. He's not trying to become the king of "this," or the greatest "that." All my man wants is to touch some boobs, like any other average teenager. Bro is just like me when I was that age....horny lol. I'm glad we got ED visuals this time but I preferred the first song more. |

| The zenith of fiction, I'm afraid. Great character introductions for our two other main cast members. Cutting the scene actually helped the pacing and coherency of this episode a lot so I'm all for it. Looking forward to Meowy next ep :) |

| Not sure how to feel about the removal of the Muscle Devil portion, since it clearly established Denji's empathy towards Devils and how he views their relationship with humans. I get that most people viewed it as simple filler that's not worth keeping, but I don't really agree with this type of mentality. Especially when CSM of all manga can't really be accused of having filler due to how fast paced it is and never wasting a single panel. I've read that in exchange for remove parts like that, Mappa will add some more meaningful interactions between the main cast, as well as extend the fight scenes, which is nice. I just hope it's worth it. Overall, decent episode, with Power and Aki being the highlight for me. Seeing them voiced and animated was a treat. Power in particular is such a ball of energy. |

| Another solid episode and well done adaptation. They nailed Makima's iron fist in a velvet glove voice and general attitude. I love that OP, all those homages are awesome. And my girl Power looks as bishin as she was supposed too. Got the right energy too. |
