| I didn't expect Power to be that crazy, I like her craziness lol. Her weapon is cool btw, made of blood. Her voice is quite gruff but I think it suits her personality. Hayakawa really has two juniors who will probably be very troublesome for him hahaha |

| It seems like we're starting off episode 2 well, because POCHITA IS ALIVE. Glad to hear that, but I wish we had more Pochita scenes, so it would have been better if Pochita was with Denji :( Anyway, the episode starts really well with Denji falling in love with the first girl that gives him attention. Honestly, it's realistic considering his life so far, he never had a bit of love from anyone, except Pochita. As we see later in the video, Makima only seems interested in Denji's abillities, and is very well conscious that Denji's in love with her, and is using that to use him. I'm wondering if she really sees him as a person or only as an object to use, and how she will develop in the future. So far, she has been a really mysterious characters, and I can't decipher her intentions. Good to see Denji having the opportunity to have a more "normal" life, with normal I mean he gets to be in a proper house, take a bath, eat well, and rest in a comfy bed, because killing Demons is not something really normal. Not only that, it seems like he just got rid of his burden with the Yakuza, to be bond to the Devil Hunters, even if he doesn't want... Not sure on how to feel about this, but so far it's better than before. We got to know the main characters of the show (I think, at least from the opening), and I must say, we're in for a ride, aren't we? All of the characters have been really unique so far, so I'm interested to see how it's going to be their dynamics. Denji just got an objective for his life: To touch some boobs. Well, to each their own. I think it's an understable and legit goal. Wonder if this "horny teenager" trope is going to be his only trait in the show, but it doesn't seem like so. Also, what age is Denji? At the start I thought he would be a teenager, but then I though that maybe it was a lot of violence to show for a minor, so maybe he's barely an adult? I will see if the show answers this anytime, or I'll just search (but I might catch some spoilers that way). The most epic part of the episode is for sure Denji beating Aki's balls xD I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT. Good way to go, Aki didn't have the right to be so brutal. Aki said his motives was killing Demons, but I feel like there's something more... I dunno, let's see if they reveal more of his story. I'm most curious about Power, because she's totally different from the other fiend we saw. How did she get this human form? Also, her thirst for Demon Blood was interesting, she could sense the demon from far away, and killed it in 2 seconds. And was visibly happy about that. I'm really interested to see how she will be as character, and how her dynamics with Denji will be. To end this, I never thought Denji would accept being a dog pet so easily for Makima, that boy is completely in love xD, that woof revealed it all. |
