| This episode was awesome. I never thought Power girl or two red horn girl was this crazy hot and good. As for Denji and Hayakwa. Denji went for Fatality hit right there! XD loved that. |

| 4/5 This was a good episode. MAPPA is nailing the pacing and the authenticity of the manga quite tidily. Some key moments were a bit drab but most of them got their point across. The animation was beautiful and fluid. Makima just owns whatever scene she's in, they made her extra spicy and enigmatic. Aki's VA was decent but Power's VA is just perfection. I literally got a little giddy by her brief performance and am craving for more Lots of varied angles and camera shots used in this episode too retaining that cinematic vibe from the first episode. The Gustave Dore painting in Makima's office was a nice touch too. Subtle but speaks volumes for her character in the storyline. More painting references to follow, so I'm very excited. They actually didn't show Aki's face like in the manga when he told Denji that Makima indeed saved him too. Such an insignificant detail but uhhh....it hits hard if you truly know the context. The devil really is in the detail, isn't it? They cut out the muscle devil scene which as a manga reader, is a bit of disappointing but you CAN'T HAVE EVERYTHING!! They atleast kept Denji's dialogues, so I'm content with it. Some new soundtracks were incorporated but nothing that got me too excited. There were many brief snippets that blended well enough with their respective scenes. I also liked how Power's glorious laugh at the end seamlessly transitioned to the ending. Love to see it All in All, a great follow up to the premiere. No thumping action or thrill but just meeting new characters and getting to know the protagonist with a bit of quirky & crass comedy. The harsh tone shift is noticeable but Fujimoto's innate ability to perfectly execute tone shifts is something to behold and I'm personally very excited for his chaotic storytelling to completely take off in coming episodes and bewilder anime onlys |

| @Dukino I read that Fujimoto is a bit of a masohist and it's not hard to imagine that his kinky side flowed into Denji. As a result the character became a self-insert for incels xD Vlad4o said: Not sure how to feel about the removal of the Muscle Devil portion, since it clearly established Denji's empathy towards Devils and how he views their relationship with humans. I think the part where Aki scolded him conveyed that well enough |

| Makima's voice is growing on me. It's sweet but sounds a bit dishonest. The anime's clearly painting her as some sort of sociopath, lying and manipulating to take advantage of an unfortunate guy like Denji. |

| THIS EPISODE WAS SOOO GOOD, i love power haha and hayakawa is pretty nice too, makima gives off a bit of a bad vibe tho lol, animation is great and the opening and ending songs are bangers |

| Today's episode was a character introduction with a beautiful mature girl, a boy and his pain in the balls and just POWEERR!!!!! Denji fulfilling his normal dreams while discovering BIG NEW DREAMS. An episode without much movement but very satisfying. I just LOVE her SO MUCH man, no wonder she's been in my top 10 favorite characters for years! Power! I was a little worried about the little cut he got at the beginning where Makima asked Denji to save a little girl from the muscle demon while her udon was getting cold, I watched both episodes but couldn't find that part. It was a small cut, it doesn't affect the story much. But I'm worried about making more cuts in the work. |

| Now that we've had a little more of Makima, bloody hell her voice doesn't match at all. Why a teen or a childs voice? Such disappointment but not surprised, the manga was no good anyways. |

I don’t think the Mappa directors really gave any thought to the source material which is understandable since everyone working on the project is forced to do hundred hour work weeks on multiple projects, making it hard to put any care into one. |

| They've skipped the part with the muscle devil but, it's not a big deal at all. So no worries IG. Finally introduced Power with the best VA ever. It fits her energetic personality. The iconic "I wanna touch her boobs" scene got animated and gah damn.. i feel you. Also Zutomayo ED was CRAZILY GOOD. |
