| Denji's an average dumb horny teenager, who unfortunately never even had a basic conversation with the creatures of opposite gender. So not surprising, he already thinks he's in love with Makima. Though for Makima dude's nothing but a pet she picked from rubble. Aki made his presence this episode, only one of those few level-headed personalities we’ll see throughout the course of this series. He’s cool and all except if you start asking about Makima cuz guys in this series owe her something one way or the other, though little did he know Denji’s not the kind of guy you should lose your cool upon, those balls.. those damn balls I wonder if they really holding their shape or not. Aki enduring that waddling pain.. respect man. It’s good to have a goal in life, with Denji aiming for Makima’s titties.. talking about titties Power’s here!!! |

| Man... Makima is so mesmerizing for obvious reasons and MAPPA even gave her the assets. Nice. Aside from that, another remarkably adapted episode. This adaptation is doing such a great job of improvising the manga to an even different extent. I couldn't have asked for a better one, honestly. So far, I have been very happy with the adaptation. Aki and Power made their appearances and Power is cute as ever. And, on top of that, the legendary "I wanna feel some tits" panel got animated. Really good episode. Loved it. |

| Welp, the tough life for Denji begins. He better get used to it. I love how they kept in the violence, dark humor, and overall style of the episode in fitting with the manga for this. Meanwhile, it's great to see more of Power this episode. Their relationship is a bit..rough so far but I like their chemistry. |

| Denji hasn’t eaten breakfast and he’s straight-up falling in love with Makima. Haha funny. Well they picked some food up and that noodle scene was a whole lotta fun! Lol I bet some are disappointed or it could be a good decision because Aki’s also introduced for Denji to be working with him, if you notice in the anime, Denji untied his neck tie and Aki just looks irritated af while in the manga Denji tied his neck tie and Aki looks like Aki, don’t know what’s the intention but it does give out a different atmosphere. That punch moment though, knowing Aki isn’t some guy who to deal with a person having shallow reasons instead of having strong conviction in becoming a Devil Hunter but, Denji on the other hand, doesn’t have that many personal experiences in a wider aspect of this job either, well both of them got problems on their own, they’ll need to persevere in overcoming it later on. Power’s first appearance in this episode and she smells blood lol “THE GLORY IS MIND GAHAHAHAHAHA”, Denji and Power’s interaction is going to be a ton of fun too! |

| They really skip the muscle devil part, but it doesn't bother me. Plus they added some new interactions with Makima. Also we got to see Aki and Power in this episode with some great scenes. I was waiting to see Denji vs Aki fight and it was really worth it |

| Denji is HOOKED onto Makima (even with the iconic "woof"), and it's kinda sad that the Muscle Devil segment was skipped over, but it's not like it's an important set piece in Denji's history (at least in the anime so far). Going into Tokyo and right into the Public Safety's Devil Hunters' HQ, Denji is only thinking of feeling some boobs, while getting acquainted with the devil hunting job with his first partner, Aki Hayakawa, whom he doesn't get along with, and is ready to lead his own self-endowed life. Really aiming for the nuts for Denji eh, he's no chill. But being given the special attention that he is being a human-devil hybrid, all he thinks of is Makima all day. A Fiend strikes making a case, and as opposed to his chainsaw powers, he had some compassion to make it less painful to secure porn stuff, which Hayakawa coudn't appreciate since his family was slain by a devil. Instead, other than Aki, there's the Fiend herself, SHE IS POWER. One blood's smell away, and the strike hold is done. Power comes in strong with bloodlust. |

| Didn't know that the anime would skip the Muscle Devil sequence. Oh well, not like it was that important or anything apart from Denji considering to leave behind Makima. + we missed out on this twisted gem  Perhaps it's a bit too much to show a little girl in such a state Aki's seiyuu is doing great. And yes, let's goo POWER. Her presence alone makes episode 2 infinitely better than episode 1. |

| Yeah, I'm not a big fan and did not miss Denji being a horny teen with a head fueled with BOOBAnium and not much else for another significant character trait for the first 20 or so chapters of the story. Stellar adaptation of a not so good content. It starts rough, but nothing we can do about it, it will get much better eventually. 3/5 |

I'm delighted to see proper ending visuals. Hope they keep pumping them out. Berserk became a masterpiece eventually, and Chainsaw Man is at the very least amazing so far in, imo. |

| The quality of this episode was amazing, I enjoyed myself all the way through and I am fully on board for what's to come next. Denji kicking Aki in the nuts was as funny as it was in the Manga lmao Power showing off a tease of her abilities got me super hyped, MAPPA is really puling out all the stops and I'm thankful for all their efforts. Power overall just stole the episode for me. See you all next week. |

| Denji in a nutshell: Makima calls him a dog that would be put down if he said no to her = doesn't question it, in and out of his brain in seconds Makima gifts him a blazer and offers to pay for his breakfast = falls in love. My dude is an abuse magnet. Early Chainsaw Man was never the banger it becomes, but MAPPA is doing a good job adapting the content so far. Aki & Power entrance had me hyped! Also preferred ED1, but really enjoyed the visuals for ED2. |

| Good episode! In this episode, we get introduced to Hayakawa and Power, who seem to be written well. I like Power, she seems fun. Denji is also funny. I like him too. Also, the ED this episode was cool. The song had a nice vibe and I loved the visuals. Overall, it was pretty good! :D |
| While the early Chainsaw Man isn't particularly my favorite part, this episode was still really damn well made. I still loved it regardless, gave a great introduction to Aki, Power, and Denji's overall horniness. Makima really is something to behold. EDIT: The nut kicking scene was fucking hilarious btw |

| No muscle devil fight, they moved Denji’s monologue about Makima in the car and had him pass out to make the udon cold. I like how they changed it and kept the important parts as that fight was useless. Aki and Power are here. Their VA’s did an 11/10 performance. Shougo Sakata did an amazing job in the testicle devil scene, I felt his pain. Next episode is going to be more high action then this episode so looking forward to that too. I never knew I could love Power and Aki 10x more but this episode did it for me. 4/5 episode |
