Barakamon
| Are both series their own version or is handa-kun really the precuel of barakamon and it’s only kind of a plot hole? Cause I’ve been rewatching both now (first handa then barakamon) and noticed that some things don’t really match up. For example: He being allergic to cats. He loves cats and in Handa-kun Handa was watching cats from the distance knowing he can’t touch them bc he’s allergic. In barakamon he wants to touch them and after he did he is more or less surprised about he allergic body-reaction and remembers his father telling him that he should play with animal so carelessly or something. Or Kawafuji speaking about Handas past in barakamon. There he says he was bad in socializing and very arrogant. That he gets depressed very easily and about the Handa-Wall. In Handa-kun it’s pretty much the same but he wasn’t arrogant. Handa was a kind boy trying to make friends in a school where he thought everybody hates him. I know that you can interpret pretty much in both scenes but I think it’s still weird. I also don’t really mind but wanted to know if it’s a mistake by the manga and when Handa-kun was made they didn’t thought about it or are the scenes different (or not even there) in the manga and so only a anime plot hole? |

| Its because Handa-kun is a prequel in name only, its not actually 100% canon. You have to just see it as its own thing because they are both very different anime. |
