Not sure if the first half of the episode really advanced the plot in a meaningful way, but the ending is pretty great. Overall I like this show.

Jeez I'm so glad it ended. The MC makes no sense at all. The whole plot and people don't make sense at all.

What a waste of good art

That was great. That's how a final should be like, satisfying and impactful.

Loved the conversation Kou had with Hatsuka. Especially when he said it has to be Nazuna-chan.

The OST the whole episode was so on point.

The best part of this episode was obviously the Kiss. That was so satisfying to see.

Every episode was fun to watch.
This can Summertime Render is anime of the season for me. I hope it gets a second season soon.

Overall 9/10.
It's been a while I rated a recent anime 9.

I genuinely don't get the appeal of this show.
Is it the backgrounds and music?
Because outside of that I can't really see anything outstanding.

Just say that you have no taste and move on. You and a very VERY small group of people are the only ones saying stupid shit like this.

The way this ended was perfect for me. It felt reminiscent of when I'd watch anime in the 90s/early 2000s. As much as I enjoyed this show and loved the ending, I don't want a season 2. I want it to end right here and leave the rest up to my imagination. So many shows over welcome their stay, I don't want this one to do that. The experience felt good and hopefully, I can hold onto that for awhile.

Amazing supernatural romance show, very grounded making thrilling scenes such as fights more intense. Animation, scenes, sound and compositing with lights really makes the show stand out. There's a bit of ecchi which sometimes feel like it takes away from the show, but makes sense thematically, and only happens a few times.

ended at the right time and ended correctly, which makes us wait for the second season.

The best vibes I ever got from the series, were neither overly dramatic nor too cheesy and worked really well with the comedic elements to really show off a progression in the feelings of both Nazuna and Yamori that felt natural and well deserved.

What a surprising series.

An incredibly awkward (like, painfully awkward) romantic comedy in the vein of Bakemonogatari that somehow manages to be wholesome despite its decidedly unwholesome subject matter.

That said... the detective arc was pretty bad.

I disliked the last episode beacuse it was so fast and everything didin't go as planned, well yea Yamori got to be a vampire but didin't get to be Nazuna's vampire, atleast they got their things that they wanted. The thing is we never got to know what happened to the detective and the other mates of his, that's what made me question the ending. But for all it was a good anime and i would recommend it but like i said, ending was too quick and almost had no sense to me.

Not sure if you actually finished the episode but at no point in time did Yamori become a vampire, whatsoever. Also why are you making it seem as if there won't be a season 2, I mean it's quite obvious with the way things left off and the large amount of source material available.

Absolutely great, the author really understands how people think and whilst it makes 0 sense that he's 14, a literal child, but since its girl on boy p3do is okay, right.
But ignoring that dumb fact, the episode was great, it truly showed how vampires and humans both think, and kind of explained how vampires and humans actually think about themselves, and didnt make vampires these all mighty beings that know everything, since they lvie forever.
The art was astonishing, very fun to watch. Overall great show, and a banger of an episode to end it on.
Wish he closed his eyes on the kiss tho, bruh.

Possibly my favourite show in an extremely stacked season, if there isnt going to be a season 2 announcement soon Im going to pick up the manga!

Exciting yet cozy, the perfect mix.
Uniquely the "boring MC" wasnt even boring here, usually the energetic interesting girl gets friends with a lame guy trope really is just that, one boring self insert and a cool girl. But Ko actually has a personality and is interesting enough to follow on his own. And Nazuna is obviously cool as well. This creates a dynamic which isnt utterly one sided for once, I dare to say an actual relationship! Anime needs more of that.

The show baits you with ecchi content but actually explores mature topics and it does so without feeling unnatural or forced.

Im not sure if Im inclined to watch it again in the future, it doesnt seem that rewatch worthy but it was a great experience the first time and Im hooked for more.

Rip to all the guys who found Hatsuka hot. The real question is would it be gay to feel attracted to her him?

I wonder if Hatsuka is bi or not. His offsprings might or might not be. Women who find femboys attractive and straight men who don't know that he's a guy and gay men who like femboys would be his offsprings I guess.

Looks like Nazuna and Ko have a much clear goal in mind now. Both of them will try their best to fall in love. They'll finally be putting some effort into their odd relationship. Earlier it was just Ko doing something once in a while. Finally, Nazuna will also be participating.

Okayish show. Wasn't too hyped about it, but then again I don't read the manga so that's that.

The end of Volume 5 of the manga, wonderfully adapted to anime. I agree with the opinions expressed above, this chapter has been an ideal point to stop the anime and also to give it continuity later with a second season. To me it has been quite an experience to relive these chapters at the beginning of this story, both in the manga and in the anime, especially the tense moments of these last episodes. There is still a lot of story to adapt, and the stage, with all its characters and complexities, is already laid out. Alas, what can one say?

Great show. Hatsuka is hot as fuck. The kiss was great, good ending! I'm surprised at what was left out from the manga considering how faithful the show was to the manga, but it's no big deal they followed the manga really damn well. I hope it gets another season.

I don't think i've enjoyed an anime this much in a long long time. This show felt like this, perfect depictment of night life that can come in so many various forms. A calm and chilled out night, voided of cars and people with nothing but ur own thoughts to listen to. Or wild nightlife where you can party and enjoy yourself, flushing away all ur anxiety and stress if only for a few hours, but at the time, feels like a life time.

Story was quite straightforward. In one episode alone we are already given a decent size of information about Nazuna and Kou, Nazuna is a vampire, Kou has trouble socialising at school and their meeting changes Kou's trajectory in life, he now wants to become a vampire. Boom. The delivery was quick, which for a 13 episode romance show is what i like to see as it gives plenty of room for one of the main core plot points of the show that i looked forward to the most, Nazuna and Kou's relationship. The core concept can be seen simply as "Kou wants to become a vampire, and to do such must fall in love with Nazuna"

Characters were likeable and unique to the show. The main cast were entertain and unique to the show with their own personalities. Nazuna, besides from being a vampire, acts like a goof that spends her time indoors playing games, however when facing romance becomes a complete glass cannon to it. Kou can definitely read a room, maybe struggles with thinking before speaking but he shows awareness of his surroundings, he bounces of Nazuna's goofy side at times and together the two make a really interesting dynamic.

Visuals were definitely a selling point for me. Back onto that theme of night time, chill vibes and supernatural, the visuals couldn't work or look better for that theme. The colours in the background can literally have their own representation in themselves, the contrast of bright purple when ever Nazuna appears of when something supernatural happens just completely heightens the environment to make it feel uneasy and mysterious. Likewise when Yamori is by himself or with other humans there can be a warm yellow shade at times, potentially trying to bring us back down to earth, or show how comfortable Yamori is when with Akira or Mahiru.

The OST of this show literally has to be, again, one of the best i've heard in so long maybe since i watched Mushi-shi. It's literally lo-fi. I have no better way to describe it, it feels like lofi with sprinkles of more techo and synth to it, but to me it truly feels like lo-fi. I never thought i'd actually see the day for an anime to incorporate a genre like or similar to lofi for an anime's OST, but here i am today, and what a time to be alive.

All in all 10/10. Story was hooking with its take on a romance, vampire anime having what i thought was amazing and realistic relationship development for the MC's that made them more enjoyable to watch. Side characters all served a unique purpose in the show, as well as having mostly having their own screen time to develop or have impact on the main cast. Visuals and screenplay are frankly a work of art that helps put emphasis on the theme of supernatural as well as make the show more enticing to watch. OST likewise accompanies the same theme of a chilled night with the use of techno, synth to create lo-fi esc beats.
Overall great watch, 100% my favourite anime this season and can't wait for a season 2 where i can see more Anko Nazuna and Kou development.

Yeah happy ending I guess but the whole conflict started from the detective is pretty stupid. I get wanting to have a conflict about whether or not Ko actually wants to become a vampire but it should have been introduced do to more normal interactions with Nazuna or at least a vampire we know. Instead of get this cringe detective spouting bullshit about vampires being evil which is objectively false given what the show has shown us so far.
