I think excitement died with the manga's disappointing ending (or re's entire second half depending on who you ask) and the anime's neverending downward spiral so I don't know if a new anime would be a profitable investment. |

| Several other anime are in need of a reboot (Berserk, 2006, Tsukihime, The Promised Neverland Season 2, etc.) and Tokyo Ghoul is one of them. |

| What is it with everyone saying “If Mappa”? Let Mappa chill they have so many IP’s they are working on and will work on. Saying this also dismisses all the other great studios out there, including one which in my opinion is superior to Mappa in Ufotable. |

| I don't think S1 needs a reboot but the sequels should have one as they didn't animate some parts of the source and altogether skipped them... or so I thought. |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| It's been god knows how many years since I even thought about this series, decide to check myanimelist forums for the first time since 2019 and this Talker copypasta is what I see God help us But really though yes a well done reboot would be kinda cool but the :Re manga was mediocre when they entered the cochlea arc I'll just settle for S1 of the anime being somewhat acceptable and just rereading the original series when I feel like it |
