i don’t understand fuko ibuki’s arcs, especially the one from the first show. was she just hillucinated or something?

She was a ghost.
Though she did not died, but was just in coma. Exact same thing happened in Kanon.

She single-handedly almost ruined the entire show for me. Worst character and character arc by FAR.

She was in a coma and her soul would remain at the school so basically she was a ghost.

There’s a reason why Fuko is the ‘friend’ who gets the most screentime in After Story.

Can we agree that it ran a little too long tho?

It may sound horrible but I think it would be more impactful on the story if Fuko would die. The arc will be closed but random encounters of her later in the story are just unnecessary in my opinion since everyone forgot about her and everything related to that character.

Sucks for u but she made the show better for me. She’s my fav clannad character.

Well, you may be thinking like that and its understandable, tho its not the same for me, she is an absolute chad and menace for a society.
